The problem is that the "translate" script in "misc/translator/" doesn't support xml files, so all the strings in theses two files can't be translated. The cleanup_database.pl script doesn't give the option to only delete emails older than X days. This feature is important for libraries that want to keep a short history of notifications sent to users (on the members/notices.pl page). Current head has removed the item type column altogether, but one of my libraries would like to show item type. However, obviously, the item type should be the proper one, not the 942c.
