I'm guessing the patron information isn't available because it wasn't returned as part of the check-in process? If you click the plugin next to an authority field that is already populated it takes the values from the field and puts them in the search in the reverse order. So in the image, the field has PA, Phila, Fiction but then when you click on the plugin it reorders them as Fiction, Phila, PA. The order should match. "We have about 10 item types that are "media" (CDs, DVDs, records, etc.). Our circulation department would like to restrict checkouts to three media items total, not three of each kind." When you edit a created patron category the limitations are saved correctly.
