It just records a local use. It doesn’t try to transfer home or to the library it should be waiting at. Correct behavior should be that if it is scanned at another location other than where the system thinks it is, it should trigger a transfer to where it should be. Right now, the only way to get the item back on course is to go to the holds for that item and change the waiting to priority 1 again, and change any other priorities back one level, if any, and then check the item in again. To reproduce: 1) Place a hold on an item for a patron at LibraryA 2) Check the item in at LibraryA 3) Confirm the hold at LibraryA, the item is now a waiting hold 4) Set your logged in branch to LibraryB 5) Check the item in at LibraryB 6) Notice there is no request to transfer the item to LibraryA I think what should probably happen is the hold status should go from Waiting (W) to In Transit (T), and a transfer should be created. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. See attached mockup. The idea here is that people start typing in the browser box, and as they type, the list below filters according to what they type. They can choose what field they want to search, it'll all update pretty much straight away. The fuzziness factor determines how similar things will have to be, from exact, to missing a character being OK, to transpositions and so forth being accounted for. Exact tuning probably will be done with use. As they type, authors (or subjects, or titles, etc.) will populate in the lower box, effectively as though it were a prefix search. To see the issue: Go to Tools->Batch patron modification Enter some cardnumbers update any date field for the patrons Result is all null in that column The dates are being passed directly to ModMember without reformatting but there is an issue with DBIx::Class::ResultSet update where by dates are not processed/deflated http://search.cpan.org/dist/DBIx-Class/lib/DBIx/Class/ResultSet.pm#update I don't know whether the correct path here is to fix the call in Modmember, or to make modborrowers.pl pass the dates in a better format Marking as critical since data can be lost -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
