We will re-use the ergonomy and the logic of the circulation rules model. The rules will apply from the more specific to the less specific. One will be able to set up a notice trigger for a specific patron catagory and a specific item type. A default value for the item types and the patron categories will be available to generalize the rules. For a specific notice level, we will prevent the user to set up different delay for the same combination of options. For each rule created, the new "on-hold" option will specify that the rule applies for the « on hold » items only. This works for example nicely for the branch email address and the emails are sent out correctly. The problem is, that you can't save the value in the staff interface, as the checks for valied entries in the form reports it as an invalid email address. Sometimes the library will want to change this date by order line, as it's known that the item will have a later delivery date and they don't want it to be shown on the late orders page. There is currently no way to achieve this as we don't store a delivery date in the order. On messaging preferences page, the table is unsorted and the content in rows are generated randomly on every page refresh. When you select/deselect checkboxes and refresh the page (without posting the changes), Firefox will remember your choices. Now the issue is that when the table is unsorted and the rows keep changing on page refresh, Firefox has trouble remembering your choices. This makes it appear as if the checkboxes are magically changing values on each page refresh.
