Example: a fine of 3$ is charged because item was late of 3 days. But finaly on the three days, library was closed one day. I want to just writeoff 1$. Here's one scenario: I clicked on a pay fine that was $3 typed in $2 and accidently hit confirm twice. I some how ended up with a -1.70. When I went back and looked at the fines it showed three 2.00 fines had been paid. Additionally, these notices ship by default with the dateissued, instead of the date_due, which makes little sense to borrowers. As with any string stored in database, it's difficult to update and synchronize those files. I propose to use language descriptions out of database using standard templates files.
