In attached image (3) is what you get in the export file, but (4) is what it should be to be totally correct... The self-checkout places instead places all checkout items together, not sorting by date/time of checkout. The problem is they are expecting the list of checkouts to be in the order they checked out the items ( first checkout on the bottom, last item checked out on top ). This patch adds a Z39.50 Linker which searches for authority links on a remote server. If a matching authority is found, it's imported in the local database for linking with the current biblio record. If no matching authority was found on the remote server, the Linker falls back to a local authority search. Configuration : * The option "Z39.50 Server" is added to the LinkerModule preference. You must choose this to use the new Linker. * The preference LinkerZ3950Server is required and specifies which server to use for linking. It must contain the "name" of the server, as defined in the z3950servers table. * You can set the "local_first" option in the LinkerOptions preference to force the Linker to search for authorities in the local database first. If no local authority match was found, the Linker falls back to a remote Z39.50 search. This patch depends on code added in Bug 11299, and must be applied after it. The LOST category does not allow holds. The DAMAGED category has a global preference to allow/don't allow holds. The NOTFORLOAN category allows you to set a positive or negative value to indicate if it is holdable or not. For us, it would be great if we ditched the AllowHoldsOnDamagedItems preference and made LOST, DAMAGED, and NOTFORLOAN the same, where you to set a positive or negative value to indicate if it is holdable or not. For some Z39.50 servers, some PQF attributes are required for the server to return results to searches. For example, the BANQ server (catalogue.banq.qc.ca) requires "@attr 4" to always be set. No results are returned without this attribute. For this server, we simply enter "@attr 4=1" in the "Attributes" field added by this patch, and the server then returns results correctly. This patch can also be used to force PQF attributes in all searches to a specific Z39.50 server in order to override the server's default values.
