For example an item from 1998 appears between two items from 1996, 2015 appears between 1993 and 1996, etc Even worse, if you enter a date (that appears in the result list) in the date 'filter', no rows are returned. This enables libraries to merge composed authorities and only change the heading field. It supposes that the previous data is sent to merge function so that process deletes previous heading entries. This has the effect of hiding branch specific letters, because they sort to the bottom of the page... however when letters are processed, branch specific notices are chosen *before* the generic 'All libraries' notices. This appears to not affect cards with any other special character, and I've tested " & - so far]. It's only cardnumbers with the ' character in them. Test plan: 1. Create patron account with cardnumber sss'ssssssss and save the account. 2. Try to delete the account. Nothing happens. 3. Edit the account, and remove the ' character. Save the acccount. 4.
