Unfortunately, with the listRecords verb, item information is not included if we are using a resumption token. Steps to reproduce : - activate OAI-PMH with the inclusion of items as explained on bug 12252 - set the OAI-PMH:MaxCount to a low number, 50 for instance - go to the OAI-PMH page to get the records : [your koha catalogue]/cgi-bin/koha/oai.pl?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=marcxml - check that item data is included - get the resumptionToken at the end of the xml - got to the next page of records [your koha catalogue]/cgi-bin/koha/oai.pl?verb=ListRecords&resumptionToken=[your resumption token] - check that item data is now missing I am marking this as major because bug 12252 has been pushed to master, but is actually broken if this doesn't make it to the release as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. The cause? The following lines in CanBookBeIssued seem to be the main cause: my $expiry_dt = DateTime->new( year => $y, month => $m, day => $d, time_zone => C4::Context->tz, ); This call takes forever with 9999-12-31 when the timezone is not 'floating' or 'UTC', but e.g. Europe/Amsterdam. If the timezone is UTC, it takes 0.0002 seconds. DateTime gives the following advices: === Do not try to use named time zones (like "America/Chicago") with dates very far in the future (thousands of years). The current implementation of DateTime::TimeZone will use a huge amount of memory calculating all the DST changes from now until the future date. Use UTC or the floating time zone and you will be safe. •use UTC for all calculations If you do care about time zones (particularly DST) or leap seconds, try to use non-UTC time zones for presentation and user input only. Convert to UTC immediately and convert back to the local time zone for presentation The results DateTime.pm produces are predictable and correct, and mostly intuitive, but datetime math gets very ugly when time zones are involved ... === We are not doing that currently. The downside of this is that the word "user" cannot be used in a default value for a note! Create the deafualt value in the framework -In MARC frameworks. -Select a MARC structure of any framework to edit. -Select the subfields to edit. -Select the Edit Subfields button. -Select Display more constraints of any subfield tab. -Include "user" in the default value. (make sure hidden is st to 0). -Save Changes. However, when the borrower record is viewed via the Staff client the patron still has the item checked out. This only appears to happen if the SysPref "AllowReturnToBranch" is set to "only the library the item is from". Switching this SysPref to "to any library" does apply the checkin. The same item - checked out in Branch_A and checked in at Branch_B - does flag an error on the staff client, dissallowing the checkin.
