[Bug 15937] New: Batch checkout buggy behavior
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 09 Jan '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15937 Bug ID: 15937 Summary: Batch checkout buggy behavior Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: hector.hecaxmmx(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Depends on: 1920 For damaged items the warning message is not displayed, and Koha let to checkout the item as shown in the image. <https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=48411> I notice about a buggy behavior in this functionallity, for example the program let to checkout the first item available without confirm the checkout message, for example, Maxwell's handbook was borrowed/renewed to this patron every time in which I repeat the process. When the process end, you will presented with this table (<https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=48412>), one items was checked-out and the others wasn't, but the message is not clear whether those items was checked out or not. Another thing that I could observe is: if circ policies only allow an specific number e.g. two checkouts and two renews of an item the module doesn't let to checkout if patron has one or more checkouts and the message displayed for the program is not clear; If MaxFine is set affect in the checkouts and don't let us checkout as show in the previous image, and as before, the message doesn't provide an adequate information. NOTE: The images presented in this bug, they are obtained by applying bug 15920. [Bug 19416] New: Make it possible to hide "Show checkouts to guarantor" on patron's detail page in staff
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 08 Jan '18

08 Jan '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19416 Bug ID: 19416 Summary: Make it possible to hide "Show checkouts to guarantor" on patron's detail page in staff Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com When looking at the detail page of a patron in the staff client, there is a new entry with 16.11: 416
417 Show checkouts to guarantor 418 [% IF privacy_guarantor_checkouts %] 419 Yes 420 [% ELSE %] 421 No 422 [% END %] 423
This is confusing to some libraries that have never used the functionality to link patrons. I remember that we discussed not hiding it so people can know that this option has been set, even when it is turned off. I suggest a small change: Only show the entry on the patron detail page if the answer is "Yes". Also: Adding a class/id to it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 19890] New: authorised value branches is not visible from dropdown in Admin
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 Jan '18

07 Jan '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19890 Bug ID: 19890 Summary: authorised value branches is not visible from dropdown in Admin Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 16.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Keywords: Academy Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: hughr(a)brimbank.vic.gov.au QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org branches is an authorised value category in the database, but is not visible in the 'Show category' dropdown list in Administration - Authorised Values. This is confusing if a librarian tries to create an authorised value category called 'branches' because it will fail, since it already exists. It should appear in the authorised value category dropdown, though perhaps should not be editable from that screen, since branches should be created under Administration - Libraries and groups. Problem in 16.11, presumably in later versions too but I can't test that. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
