I think this is a somewhat unexpected change. As I see it we define availability as 'accessible', but not necessarily as 'for loan'. I think this change needs to be discussed. - Showing the authorised value description means that this will no longer be translatable. For libraries offering the OPAC in multiple languages this might be a problem (we really need to make authorised values multi-lang as the itemtypes).
