There is the problem of leaving a search result out (having 19 hits on a page instead of 20 etc.) but I was referring to the listing of 2 items where one is hidden. I see that itemtypecat helps in categorising on OPAC search but not when assigning the circulation rule. My suggestion is to have the itemtypecat auth values as well along with the itemtypes when assigning a circulation rule.
