We allow renewal of these items, in the staff client and OPAC, but when items are renewed, the lost status remains which means that fines are not applied and overdue notices are not sent. If neither Fines permissions are check marked, they will not see the Forgive Fines on Return from the circulation.pl. If the staff member has "Remaining permissions for managing fines and fees" check marked, they also will not see the Forgive fines on return from circulation.pl. If they have "Write off Fines/Fees" - Forgive Fines on Return will display at circulation.pl.
