For example, a library checks out a Museum pass to a patron - it is not a physical item that needs to be returned, but they only want the patron to be able to have one of them during a seven-day period. Right now these items have to be manually checked in at the end of the circ period to remove it from the patron account. The sender for the message is then set to the branch where the borrower is registered, which can be different from the branch or branches on the issues in question. Desired behavior is that the sender address on the notice message is that of the branch of the issues in question. Since some APIs under /svc/ happen to use that MIME type in their responses, a bit of bandwidth can be unnecessarily wasted. However, the lack of compression is of more import for svc/cataloguing/framework, which transfers a megabyte or so whenever it is invoked to fetch the default MARC21 framework (and presumably a similar amount of data for other MARC frameworks). If that server is behind a proxy these features do not work. We can use Plack::Middleware::RealIP to automatically convert the X-Forwarded-For header into the REMOTE_ADDR environment variable so no Koha code need be modified. A future enhancement could be to take advantage of the module's trusted_proxy setting to allow Koha to use these feature even after going through *multiple* proxies. In Koha we are using kohafield in auth_subfield_structure only for the link between authid and 001, as well as authtypecode and 942a. We do not have any further "kohafield functionality" as on the biblio side for additional fields like title, author, etc. (There is no authority counterpart for transform marc to koha, etc.) Sub GetAuthMARCFromKohaField is only called a few times (once in AuthoritiesMarc.pm and twice in authorities.pl). In e.g. SearchAuthorities, GuessAuthid, AddAuthority, etc. 001 is hardcoded. This actually means that you should really NEVER change the "kohafield" mapping in the Subfield structure of Admin/Authority types for 001 and 942a.
