At the moment, the database has to do a row scan through every auth_header row in order to determine which records to return. The currency dropdown will list all currencies on the system that have an exchange rate specified. When a currency is selected a conversion will be made from the selected currency to the currency marked as active at the exchange rate specified at the point of receipt. When you want to turn off HOLD notices globally you can: - Change the messaging settings for every patron. You can use the script, but you can't get back their individual settings easily and you need to go server side via SQL. - Empty out the Email template (requires you have a print one still set up).
