by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Sep '20

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26254 Bug ID: 26254 Summary: Large patron imports through the web interface can timeout in plack Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: wizzyrea(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com The patron import job through the interface often times out with batches of import patrons of more than ~1000 patrons. Normally the job will complete in the background, but it is surprising and upsetting to users when this happens. It seems to happen more when there is significant matching happening. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 25712] New: Add plugin hooks to transform patron and item barcodes
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 03 Sep '20

03 Sep '20

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25712 Bug ID: 25712 Summary: Add plugin hooks to transform patron and item barcodes Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Plugin architecture Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Some of our partners have unusual barcode requirements that have required us to transform scanned barcodes using javascript. This is not the most reliable method. It would make more sense to have Koha transform the barcodes on the backend using a plugin. We should add hooks to transform and generate new item and patron barcodes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 26308] New: Normal view (vue normale) is not displayed in French
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 02 Sep '20

02 Sep '20

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26308 Bug ID: 26308 Summary: Normal view (vue normale) is not displayed in French Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 20.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: joel.cornuz(a)eteq.ca QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org OPAC Normal view is working as expected in English (or German, if that matters), but if I switch to French (fr-CA or fr-FR) it is just not displayed (MARC or ISBD work fine, though) I have obviously tried any option I could think of with koha-translate (update, uninstall / reinstall, etc) This is on a Debian 9 with Koha 20.05.02-1 (but the problem was already here in 19.11). Since the upgrade didn't sort the problem, I decided to report a bug. As far as I can track it (which is not very far and may be completely off) the XSLTBloc on /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/fr-CA/modules/opac-detail.tt line 131 returns nothing: [% IF ( OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay ) %] [% XSLTBloc | $raw %] [% ELSE %] I am happy to test patches or give further details if required. Thanks for Koha, which is such a useful tool!!!! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 24466] New: AllowHoldsOnPatronsPossessions and the REST API
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 02 Sep '20

02 Sep '20

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24466 Bug ID: 24466 Summary: AllowHoldsOnPatronsPossessions and the REST API Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: magnus(a)libriotech.no QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com A library in Sweden has reported the following problem: AllowHoldsOnPatronsPossessions = Do not allow. A patron borroes a book. A hold on the same book is then placed, for the same patron, through the REST API: curl --location --request POST 'https://{baseurl}/api/v1/holds/' \ --header 'Content-Type: text/plain' \ --header 'Authorization: Basic {base64-encoded user pwd}' \ --data-raw '{ "patron_id": {patronid}, "pickup_library_id": "{library}", "biblio_id": {biblioid} }' And voila, the patron has a hold on a record from which they already have an item on loan, contrary to the setting of the AllowHoldsOnPatronsPossessions syspref. (I have not tested this, but do trust that the report from the library is accurate.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 25803] New: Internet Explorer: unable to save patron edits or view patron checkouts

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25803 Bug ID: 25803 Summary: Internet Explorer: unable to save patron edits or view patron checkouts Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 19.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Browser compatibility Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: janet.mcgowan(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org This is on the staff interface. On 19.11 sites using Internet Explorer 11 we have found 2 issues: - /members/memberentry.pl make an edit to a patron record and click Save. The page does not save. - If a user has checkouts, on /members/moremember.pl in the issues table no issues are displayed. Click on Always show checkouts immediately and no issues are displayed. I marked this as Major as we still have customers with organisations restricted to using IE. Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
