https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18668 Bug ID: 18668 Summary: Add the column localuse to the items table Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Database Assignee: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Reporter: jesse(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org new feature: Add the column localuse to the items table. When a localuse is done, increment the localuse column for the item. That way the data is stored with the item like issues and renewals instead of having to do joins to the statistic tables. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18157 Bug ID: 18157 Summary: Forex rates for India based on GOC rates need support in the ACQ module Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: indradg(a)l2c2.co.in QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Procurement of books in India where price is in a currency other than INR is typically governed by GOC (Good offices committee) rates. See http://fpbai.org/goc-rates/ This rate is not necessarily as per the prevailing (short term) FOREX rates. Further it is required to maintain a history of the GOC rates for disbursal and payment of invoices. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 20118] New: System picks Active currency by default while adding suggestion to vendor
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20118 Bug ID: 20118 Summary: System picks Active currency by default while adding suggestion to vendor Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 16.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: mishravk79(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org System picks Active currency by default while adding suggestion to vendor though during purchase suggestion through staff client, currency is different than active. This creates problem while putting suggestions inside the vendor and staff needs to again select the correct currency. Tested on Koha Version 16.11.11 on Debian 1. Make active currency say "USD" 2. Make a purchase suggestion from staff client on behalf of any user and select currency different than active currency say "GBP" 3. Now enter the above suggestion in a basket. 4. See the currency by default is "GBP" while it should be "USD" Above may create problem for staff to find the correct currency again and it takes time too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 25656] New: Allow entering of currency rate to use when receiving and ordering in acq
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25656 Bug ID: 25656 Summary: Allow entering of currency rate to use when receiving and ordering in acq Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When advertising bug 24158 we had some discussion about further improvements to currency handling in Koha. It would be nice if the currency rate used for the conversion on ordering and receiving would be shown in the form (pulled from administration > currencies) but be editable at the same time, so you can update it if necessary. We could also show a checkbox to update the currency rate in administration from there, visibility of the checkbox depending on the existing manage_currencies permission. This could go together with bug 25655 that suggests storing original prices and rates used. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 27493] New: Improve structure and style of checkbox columns in tables the OPAC
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27493 Bug ID: 27493 Summary: Improve structure and style of checkbox columns in tables the OPAC Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org The width of the checkbox column in most tables in the OPAC is dynamically assigned and as such is often very wide for it's minimal content. I propose to set these fields to a fixed width as we know how large a checkbox is likely to be. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 26533] New: Searching authorities using 'is exactly' doesn't work as expected
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26533 Bug ID: 26533 Summary: Searching authorities using 'is exactly' doesn't work as expected Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: aleisha(a)catalyst.net.nz QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When searching authorities using the 'is exactly' limiter, it's expected that the search term needs to match the authority heading EXACTLY. However, it appears to match on any word in the authority heading. For example, I have an authority called 'Atlantic salmon fishing Ireland'. I am able to get search results for this authority when searching 'is exactly' 'atlantic'. But obviously, the heading is not exactly atlantic. So I shouldn't get results from this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 28746] New: Add OPAC equivalent for RestrictionBlockRenewing system preference
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jul '22

18 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28746 Bug ID: 28746 Summary: Add OPAC equivalent for RestrictionBlockRenewing system preference Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com The syspref RestrictionBlockRenewing determines whether or not a restriction prevents renewal of an item via the intranet. There is not currently a way to allow patrons to renew their own items via the OPAC when restricted. For libraries applying restrictions automatically via the overdues process, this can be overly restrictive. Some libraries would prefer to give patrons the option of renewing on the OPAC, thereby clearing their own restriction. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 28329] New: The items callnumber will reappear when editing the item if originally blanked out
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Jul '22

17 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28329 Bug ID: 28329 Summary: The items callnumber will reappear when editing the item if originally blanked out Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 20.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kelly(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl To recreate: 1. Set system preference, itemcallnumber, to 082ab or something similar to pull the call number from the bib record into the item holding. 2. Create item and remove the call number. 3. See that the callnumber has been removed in the item. 4. Edit this same item and see that the call number is back (pulled again from the marc record following the itemcallnumber sys pref). This is an issue if a library does not want a callnumber in some records but does for others. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 28712] New: Printed slips for fees come up empty if no notice is defined for the user's preferred language
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Jul '22

17 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28712 Bug ID: 28712 Summary: Printed slips for fees come up empty if no notice is defined for the user's preferred language Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Fines and fees Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When printing slips for account actions and using the TanslatedNotices feature, there is no fallback to "default", when there is not notice template for the user's preferred language. See bug 28487 for a similar instance of this. To test: - Create a manual fee of any kind - Pay it - Click on "print" and confirm the slip comes up with content - Turn on TranslateNotices system preference - Repeat "print" action - the slip should still print - Edit your patron and set a language other than "default" - Repeat print, the page now comes up empty I think this is quite hard to understand track down for users to figure out, so while there is a workaround (setting the notices) we should really fix it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
