This may not always be the desired behavior. For instance, when you created the record and the defaults were applied, you did remove one value. I would like to move "Duplicate" and "Delete" into a split button menu with "Edit" as the primary function. I would also like to use Bootstrap's toggle button feature for the "Show/Hide SQL" button. We've just tested version 20.05.04 a bit and had some problems with placing a hold in the staff interface. First, we thought the problem was a javascript crash (see 26460). We've updated this, but the problem is still there. This is what we did: 1. Set On shelf holds allowed to If all unavailable to an item type. 2. Search the catalog for a book with available items with the item type above. 3. Place a hold and choose a user that can make that hold. Normally, the system shows that this is against the rules, but that doesnt show up. Note: there is no problem in the OPAC. This also happens when links are opened in new tabs. It only prepopulates search text from the Search the Catalog search bar, not from Advanced Search. Only able to recreate the bug on pages that load within the Normal tab of a bibliographic record page: https://staff.**.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl?bibl… (including #description, #acq_details, #images) 1. Enter text in the Search the Catalog search bar and Submit 2. Click on a search result to open the record page 3. Search field is prepopulated with previous search text Even as you click through to other pages, on and on, once you open another record page, the search bar will once again prepopulate the last text entered in it. Example that automatically opens in new tab, not directly from a search result: 1. Enter text in the Search the Catalog search bar and Submit 2. Open Tools › Manage staged MARC records › Batch # 3. Click on Record # in righthand column 4. Record page opens in new tab with previous search text prepopulated The search bar should clear out upon loading a new page or tab. The following would imo be more clear: Availability: Items available for loan (2): [Call number: XXX, YYY]. The Call number part still being a span which could be hidden with css. Two changes: [1] Move the item count before the bracket list and make it bold too. [2] List a few item call numbers (not all). We could control this with a preference providing the number listed (now 1 by the chosen condition in the XSLT sheet). Essentially, this will be a code simplification.
