Unfortunately, the box that a librarian needs to fill out is greyed out- this could be very confusing to the process- as greyed out usually means, these field/s are not usable. Could this Profile Name box be not greyed out? In addition, it might be helpful to have a text box (tip box) that could tell the user what to do when wanting to create a new profile. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 29938] New: Allow a secondary database
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Feb '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29938 Bug ID: 29938 Summary: Allow a secondary database Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Database Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: pasi.kallinen(a)koha-suomi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Our database has two servers, primary and secondary where the data is replicated from primary to secondary. Koha can only use the primary, which means the secondary is sitting idle. Allow defining a secondary database server in koha-conf. Allow executing some queries in the secondary instead of the primary one. Specifically, the saved reports would have the most benefit here: 1) Reports only do selects, never anything that changes the database, so are safe to do on the secondary server. 2) Normally, running very heavy reports can affect Koha use. If the queries were executed on the secondary server, they would have no effect on Koha. 3) It generally doesn't matter if report data is few minutes old. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 28163] New: Register entries doubled up if form is submitted first without a selected register

I think I know how to reproduce this: - Add a debit type for sale with a default price - Go to point of sale - Make sure you have no register selected by default - Add your debit type to current sale - Enter amount tendered - Leave register blank and submit - Set register - Submit again - Go to register details page use the link on the left There are now 2 identical entries in the details table. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 27912] New: Quotes break guarantor search.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27912 Bug ID: 27912 Summary: Quotes break guarantor search. Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com If a patron has quotes in the borrowernotes field, you will not be able to search for them with the guarantor search. The search just keeps searching and never ends. If there are going to be characters that break functions, there should be some validation in place to prevent these characters from being saved. Otherwise, we need to make it so the characters don't break the function. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
