[Bug 26533] New: Searching authorities using 'is exactly' doesn't work as expected
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jul '22

18 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26533 Bug ID: 26533 Summary: Searching authorities using 'is exactly' doesn't work as expected Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: aleisha(a)catalyst.net.nz QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When searching authorities using the 'is exactly' limiter, it's expected that the search term needs to match the authority heading EXACTLY. However, it appears to match on any word in the authority heading. For example, I have an authority called 'Atlantic salmon fishing Ireland'. I am able to get search results for this authority when searching 'is exactly' 'atlantic'. But obviously, the heading is not exactly atlantic. So I shouldn't get results from this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 31101] New: Allow other separation options for digesting circulation alerts (checkin, checkout, renewal)
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jul '22

18 Jul '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=31101 Bug ID: 31101 Summary: Allow other separation options for digesting circulation alerts (checkin, checkout, renewal) Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Notices Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In Circulation::SendCirculationAlert we find the only use of the C4::Message module and one of the last TRUNCATE calls btw in the same context: my $message = C4::Message->find_last_message($borrower, $type, $mtt); unless ( $message ) { C4::Context->dbh->do(q|UNLOCK TABLES|) unless $do_not_lock; C4::Message->enqueue($letter, $borrower, $mtt); } else { $message->append($letter); $message->update; The append method digests multiple notices by looking for a ---- separator: if ($letter->{content} =~ /----/) { my ($header, $body, $footer) = split(/----\r?\n?/, $letter->{content}); In the first place I would not mind sending these notices separately. But anyway. If we do combine them (within the timeframe of the message queue processing interval), it would be convenient to allow separating too on an html tag like <item> as used elsewhere in notices. I looked a bit at the notice digesting and actually only find this feature working for advance notices. The overdue digest flag is a bit weird: the job already digests by default? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
