This would be a benefit/advantage for users who don't come into the physical branch but use curbside or electronic services. If Koha could look at borrowers.lastseen - last time a patron has been seen (connected at the OPAC or staff interface), this could be used as a way to identify that activity and renew the patron accordingly. In addition, if a library uses TrackLastPatronActivity the borrowers.lastseen date could also identify when a patron is using SIP-related connections. It would be great to have a system preference that would allow you to turn this function on or off for libraries who want patrons to come in to renew membership (ie show driver's license for mail verifying address). (see image) - Date published is corrected, irregularity is respected but name of month do not respect irregularities cheched on prediction pattern. Has anyone ever experienced this problem? I think there is another bug somewhere about having access in Koha staff to scheduled cron jobs, but I wanted to take this discussion a step further. I routinely go to the batch tools and delete patrons that have been expired 2 years or more. It would be nice to automate this, and other cleanup tasks. But I was also thinking it might be worth having a discussion about notifying patrons when their accounts have been expired a certain amount of time, and warning them that their account will be permanently deleted by a certain time.
