[Bug 34606] New: Advanced editor doesn't populate framework defaults when creating a new record

I'm not sure if the better fix for users would be: 1. Have the framework fill those fields 2. Always open those framework links in the basic editor 3. Something else entirely. Click submit when finished. - now click on the edit button next to the server you just created. Notice that the 'Default server' box is still selected. Press submit. - notice how even though the box was selected, the server is now not the default server. - click on edit again. - there is a weird blue box in the background of the form - select 'Default server' and submit - the server is now default as expected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 29063] New: Translation issue with repeated strings in system preferences
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Oct '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29063 Bug ID: 29063 Summary: Translation issue with repeated strings in system preferences Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: I18N/L10N Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: frederic(a)tamil.fr When translating the preferences in Pootle, the strings of every preference are prefixed with a string, keeping them unique and allowing for a more individual translation. In other words: you can use different translations for Use/don't use, activate/deactivate depending on context and the rest of the sentence. Now in the manual chapters for the system preferences, this does no longer work. There strings like Use/don't use and activate/deactivate are "collapsed" into one string. So you can only translate it once, which means you can't match the translations you picked for the Koha GUI. I am not sure how to solve this. Maybe we could think about formatting the preferences in the manual differently so the whole text descriptoin appears as one entry on Pootle? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. This is quite unsual for how blogs or CMS display author information. I think we should remove the title here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. If later on an e-mail address is added to the patron account all the old messages could be sent out by accident. Check out and check in messages are only interesting close to the checkout/checkin process, later on, they are just confusing to patrons. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. When adding a record to a basket with the "from a new (empty) record" option, the default values are not added to the record according to the default grid. Was there work for this problem? currently the ApplyFrameworkDefaults system preference does not fix the problem for the acquisition module.
