If you are editing data from library B while logged in at library A, doing so might result in data loss as the value stored in the modified object might be missing from the drop downs your user sees. Example 1: Item values Itemtype: BK Books - limited to Centerville AV LOC: FIC Fiction - limited to Centerville Your user: logged in for Centerville * Edit an item and make sure it uses the itemtype Books and location Fiction. * Switch library to any but Centerville. * Edit item: Both item type and location drow downs will be empty. * Saving now will empty out itemtype (if not set mandatory) and location resulting in data loss. We could either add it to the /libraries endpoint's responses or create a dedicated endpoint for opening hours. It does not, however, respect weekday closed days as defined in the Calendar page. We should expose that detail from the libraries interface, including in the summary table, details view and edit form. I believe this would be best achieved by migrating the weekly closed days from repeatable holidays into the new library_hours table and thus making it available via the existing library_hours embed in the API. This makes it trivial to display the open/closed state in the api driven datatable as well as on the view and edit pages. We should continue to support displaying and editing these weekly closed days from the calendar too, however. It would be useful to be able to type them in. If I type 9, it's ok. If I want to type 9:55, it doesn't let me. It also doesn't let me type 17.
