[Bug 27859] New: Marc export for search result
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Oct '26

24 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27859 Bug ID: 27859 Summary: Marc export for search result Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching - Elasticsearch Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: glasklas(a)gmail.com This patch provides the option of exporting a search result as MARCXML or iso 2709. Ideally the export should be asynchronous but it was much trickier than first thought to fork and detach from Apache so gave that up for now. A link to the export is sent to the current user as an email as a simple way of delivering the response asynchronously (keeping it this way so don't have to refactor when/if the export is made asynchronous). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 35452] New: Provide more info when using Link authorities automatically

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35452 Bug ID: 35452 Summary: Provide more info when using Link authorities automatically Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: adolfo.rodriguez(a)xercode.es QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl There are records with many entries that can be linked to authorities, be it secondary authors (7xx) or subjects (6xx) As it is, when you use "Automatic authority link" the results list only indicate the field number, so you see something like this. * 650 - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 650 - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 650 - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 700 - No matching authority found. * 700 - No matching authority found. * 700 - No matching authority found. To figure out which are the entries the results refer to you have to manually check the fields in the record. I think this could improved by adding info about the entries. Something like this. * 650 - Rock music. - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 650 - Alternative rock music. - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 650 - Country music. - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 700 - Ikeda, Elaiza - No matching authority found. * 700 - Okada, Nana - No matching authority found. * 700 - Tsuchiya, Anna - No matching authority found. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 17656] New: Irregularities in serial prediction pattern are planned only for the current year

Over the next renewal, you will have to set it again which is very tedious. We should be able to configure this in the long run (as it was possible in previous version of Koha before 3.14, I think) Olivier Crouzet -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 27248] New: Allow to use list of barcodes/itemnumbers with Batch extend due dates tool
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 23 Oct '26

23 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27248 Bug ID: 27248 Summary: Allow to use list of barcodes/itemnumbers with Batch extend due dates tool Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In some cases libraries want to use some more complicated criteria for selecting the items that they want to extend the due dates for. For these cases it would be great if SQL reports could be used to make a list that then can be uploaded to the tool, similar to how we manage other batch operations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 32328] New: Add ability to specify how long an item stays on a library's holds queue
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 23 Oct '26

23 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=32328 Bug ID: 32328 Summary: Add ability to specify how long an item stays on a library's holds queue Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bwsdonna(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com With multi-location libraries that are open varying hours, it would be helpful to be able to specify how long an item appears on a library's hold queue before the item appears on another location's queue. For example, Title A is available at both Library D and Library E. The patron wants to pickup the item at Library D. Library D is closed Saturday and Sunday, but Library E is not. Currently, the item could potentially show on Library E's hold queue. Since it takes three days of transit time to move the item from Library E to Library D, it would be faster to fill the hold from Library D, but because it was moved off Library D's queue, it won't be filled there. It would be nice to be able to specify by Library how long an item will appear on the holds queue for that library before it is moved, and the item is sent from another library. Using Holds Queue Skip Closed (and the other associated sys prefs) does not address this sufficiently. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 30328] New: Add ability to generate barcode with branch specific prefix

[Bug 35288] New: ApplyFrameworkDefaults add plugin to add more fine grained defaults handling

[Bug 34671] New: Collapsing fields in patron form allows saving without mandatory fields
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 23 Oct '26

23 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34671 Bug ID: 34671 Summary: Collapsing fields in patron form allows saving without mandatory fields Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: emmi.takkinen(a)koha-suomi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com We've had cases where user has been able to save patron without address. It turned out that if one collapses patron entry fields validating those fields no longer works even if they are marked as mandatory. To reproduce: 1. Make sure you have "Main address" fields set as mandatory with BorrowerMandatoryField syspref (address, city, zipcode) 2. Add new patron, fill in some info, but leave "Main address" fields empty. 3. Attempt to save. => "This field is mandatory" should be displayed next to the address fields. 4. Collapse "Main address" section. 5. Attempt to save again. => Patron is saved successfully without address information. I'm using address section as an example here, but this happens with every other fields as well. I was able to save patron without surname and date of birth this way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
