It will save some time to the librarian when cataloguing because the only way to verify this is to go in the complete authority and check the area 643. The column could identify the editor or organism making the publication which appears in the field 643, subfield $b in the authority record 130. It could be useful to add this info for search results in bibliographics records and for search results in Authorities module. This improvement could be made as a system preference allowing us to choose which feilds we want to display (it will be more practical for more people then). At the moment, the message is only : «Are you sure you ant to delete this authority?». The message could contain more informations form the authority record like the notice number and the type of the authority. The message could be : « Are you sure you want to delete the common name authority (for example) (statement of the term) ____ (record number) ___?». Or it could be somthing else. It would be nice to have more informations in this notification like the notice number of the origin's record of the item and the number of the record to which we have just attached an item. The message could be: "The item(XXXXXXX)from(number of the origin notice) has successfully been attached to "title of the record(Number of the new record).". However, if we manually specify a return date before we create the loan, this date will be overcame without any mention. A warning message should inform us that the due date manually entered will go beyond the patron account end date. Tested on demo 21.05.09 and 20.05 too. When I save a new authority record from a bibliographic record, the record tab closes. This problem only occurs when I start from the link of the record in a batch of imported marc records. Video here : https://www.screencast.com/t/DaoKCiECkC1 Test plan : - import a file with biblio record (stage-marc-import.pl) - import batch (manage-marc-import.pl) - click on link on Record column - biblio record open on a new tab - click on edit record - add an authority on 600$a for example that does not exist in db - click on Link authorities automatically (addbiblio.pl) - click on + (icon to the right of $9) to create authority - a new window opens - click on save after filling - window of authority closes - tab of biblio record closes too! and unsaved data is lost Thanks for help! Previously this was not the case. To reproduce: 1. Make sure AutoSwitchPatron is enabled 2. Pull up a patron on cgi-bin/koha/circ/circulation.pl 3. Scan another patron barcode into the check out "Enter item barcode" field 4. The system should successfully switch to the scanned patron however it will play the error audio file. It would be interesting to have a button "new course" when we are in the page of a course in the reserve of course.
