Basically, the system preference makes the guarantor mandatory when creating a patron whose category is 'can be guarantee'? I feel like the mention of children is a bit misleading... It seems important to add the Guarantor field as mandatory, if the system preference, ChildNeedsGuarantor, is set to Must have Guarantor. At this time, if this sys pref is turned on to Must have guarantor, a new child patron can be created in Koha and only when attempting to save the form (without the guarantor), does it give an error. Our staff have found themselves generally more likely to want to perform another search after a hold, rather than perform a checkout. As such, this default action is adding an extra click after every hold. To recreate: 1 - find a bib record, look at it (/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl?biblionumber=XXX) 2 - observe that while you're on the Normal tab the header offers "Search catalog" 3 - click to MARC, ISDB, Items, Checkout History, Modification Log, or Rota 4 - observe that the header continues to default to Search 5 - click Holds (/cgi-bin/koha/reserve/request.pl?biblionumber=XXX) 6 - Now the header defaults to "Check out" We'd love a system preference to allow us to change this default so that the header defaults to Search for all parts of the bib record. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Go to circulation - transfers 2. Select a destination library 3. Enter barcode and submit. See a transferred items table. Bug 31671 adds a print slip for the transfer. 4. Navigate back to the circulation page. 5. Select Transfers again. See that the previous table is now gone. If the slip needed to re-printed, the transfer now has to be regenerated. It may be nice to retain this table for reference and also to have the print slip option. It also would be nice to link those to the system preference of which languages the library currently has, as to not have them all listed.
