Current description: [Don't allow/Allow] checkouts of items reserved to someone else via SIP checkout messages. If allowed do not generate RESERVED warning. This allows self checkouts for those items. If using the holds queue items with pending holds will be marked as "unavailable" if this set to "Don't allow". For example, regular borrowers may be required to have a birth date, but an Institution patron type would not have a birth date to enter in this field. Item is simply deleted and the item level hold vanishes as well. To reproduce: 1. Make an item level hold 2. Delete the item using alternative A or B: A: Open the biblios Detail-view -> From the toolbar, open "Edit"-dropdown menu -> Manage items -> Delete the item that has an item level hold attached to it from "Actions"-dropdown menu B: Open the biblios Detail-view -> Select the item that has an item level hold attached to it -> Click "Delete selected items" -> Confirm deletion 3. Notice that the item is deleted without any warning and the item level hold has disappeared 4. Run following sql report: SELECT * FROM old_reserves WHERE biblionumber = [biblionumber you used in the test] 5. This bug acts to correct that by implementing an optimized algorithm for picking the item at booking time to try and maximize the pool of available items for future bookings. We should send the logged-in library when enqueueing the notice. We should also high the notice from the Add Message form if the user is not logged in at the correct branch. To recreate: 1. Ensure WhenLostChargeReplacementFee is set to "Charge" and that "Refund lost item replacement fee" in circ rules is set to "refund lost item charge". 2. Check out an item that has a replacement cost. 3. Set the item to lost. 4. Go to the Accounting tab and view Transactions. 5. Cancel the charge. 6. Return the item. Note that the patron now has a credit. This does not appear to be the case when a fine is written off. I also question whether canceling a fee should mark and item as Paid as I've always viewed "Cancel charge" as an "oops" button when someone accidentally makes something lost, so it probably shouldn't set the item to paid. Make sure you have a ciculation rule that allows you to renew 1-2. set the AllowRenewalLimitOverride system preference to Allow and SpecifyDueDate to Allow 2. Check out the item to a Borrower 5. Access the borrower's account and renew it until the limit is reached and note the due date. 6. Go to Circulation, click Renew 7. Enter the item barcode and choose a due date further than the due date from step 5 and submit 8.
