[Bug 27976] New: Add Granular options to CircConfirmItemParts
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27976 Bug ID: 27976 Summary: Add Granular options to CircConfirmItemParts Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lisetteslatah(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com It would be really nice if the "CircConfirmItemParts" added in bug 25261 wasn't all or nothing. We'd like to be able to force confirm on kits, hotspots, and book club kits but not on DVDs and Audiobooks. All of these have materials specified in our catalog. Hitting confirm on each DVD and audio check in and out would make our workflows much slower, but we'd like to be able to do it for some items still. Maybe there could be an option in the item type setup to exclude item types from the confirmation? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 34643] New: Split CircConfirmItemParts for self-checkout and self-checkin
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34643 Bug ID: 34643 Summary: Split CircConfirmItemParts for self-checkout and self-checkin Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Self checkout Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Many libraries wish to be able to allow self-check for multi-part items while requesting librarians to verify the parts when checking out/in at the desk. It makes sense to split CircConfirmItemParts into three prefs such that the feature can be enabled/disabled for SCO and SCI independently. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 39670] New: CircConfirmItemParts in SCO should allow option for blocking checkout or just warning patron
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39670 Bug ID: 39670 Summary: CircConfirmItemParts in SCO should allow option for blocking checkout or just warning patron Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Self checkout Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lucas(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Right now, if CircConfirmItemParts is on and a patron using SCO attempts to checkout an item with a material note they see "Item must be checked out at a circulation desk." It would be nice if there was an option to confirm the circ parts, not just block. Maybe something to build on top of Bug 34643 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 30271] New: Allow distinct ILLHiddenRequestStatuses config for view from patron record
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30271 Bug ID: 30271 Summary: Allow distinct ILLHiddenRequestStatuses config for view from patron record Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com The system preference ILLHiddenRequestStatuses is great for hiding completed ILL requests from the main ILL request page (/cgi-bin/koha/ill/ill-requests.pl). It also applies to the view of ILL requests within a patron record (/cgi-bin/koha/members/ill-requests.pl). It'd be helpful if those two views could have distinct settings so one could easily hide completed requests from the full view but see them in a specific patron's history. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 39943] New: Add a separate PIN code field for accessing self service devices
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39943 Bug ID: 39943 Summary: Add a separate PIN code field for accessing self service devices Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Authentication Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lari.taskula(a)hypernova.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: dpavlin(a)rot13.org Some libraries allow their patrons to authenticate to a self-checkout or an access control device with a short pin number. While this is user-friendly and compatible with numpad devices, from a security standpoint it is not acceptable to have such a weak pin code as the patron account password outside library premises in OPAC on the public internet. It would be useful to separate a weaker PIN code field from the borrowers.password field. This weaker PIN code would only be used for SIP2 and possibly SCO/SCI access in a more restricted environment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 39763] New: Item search results should include note fields
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39763 Bug ID: 39763 Summary: Item search results should include note fields Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: inkeri.hakulinen+bugz(a)helsinki.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org It is possible to add custom search fields to item search. (see bug See https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13823 ) You can even use wildcard characters with such a search. It would be important that those fields would be made visible in the search results, as well. I suppose a common use case is to add public and nonpublic notes to the custom search fields. However, those are not visible at the search results, and thus it's difficult to utilize the search results, and process the results further. I assume there will be some other use cases than note fields, as well. At least add those public and nonpublic note fields, but even better solution would be if you could customize which fields are shown in the results. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 20344] New: Transferring an item while on hold results in a transfer were the destination is the same as the source

Check out an item 2. Place a hold on the specific item with a pickup at a different branch 3. Check in: Confirm hold and transfert 4. Check the branchtransfers table to ensure that the transfert is here SELECT * FROM branchtransfers order by datesent DESC LIMIT 10; 5. Home › Circulation › Transfers 6. Create a transfer identical as the existing one 7. You should see «Item is already at destination library.» 8. Check the branchtransfers table 1. First one should have been canceled «Canceled, new transfer from A to A created» 2. Another one should have been created from A to A 3. These 2 things are the issue. [Bug 38336] New: Confusion between 099 and 942 field in UNIMARC framework
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38336 Bug ID: 38336 Summary: Confusion between 099 and 942 field in UNIMARC framework Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: mathsabypro(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl I believe there is something wrong in UNIMARC default framework (https://github.com/Koha-Community/Koha/blob/main/installer/data/mysql/en/ma… ) We have 2 fields for "local" data (specific to Koha) at biblio level : 099 and 942 And the same pieces of information are present in subfields of both fields : - 099$x and 942$0 (Number of issues => biblioitems.totalissues) - 099$s and 942$s (Serial record => biblio.serial) - 099$t and 942$c (Koha item type => biblioitems.itemtype) I suppose it is an error, because it makes no sense... And note that the 099 field in UNIMARC framework is called "local dates", so it should not contain information about item type or number of issue. Do you think we could remove safely from the default templates 099$x, 099$s, 099$t ? I don't know if those values may be harcoded somewhere in the code. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
