Not everyone carries their card. Some have the number written down or memorized. I've done a workaround with jquery and css using http://keith-wood.name/keypad.html, but it took a while to get just right. If a harvest job results in a "Fatal - Client has made too many requests 1020" response, there is currently no recourse because rerunning the harvest will result in the issue.
