https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39140 Bug ID: 39140 Summary: Add a feature to define hold pickup shelves Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: johanna.raisa(a)koha-suomi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com In public libraries the holds can be set to shelves so patrons can pick them up themselves and use the self-service machine for checking out. One of our biggest public library process nearly 1000 holds a day. At the moment the items are added to the shelves by patrons' hold numbers and ordering is taking time. The libraries like to optimize this work. The libraries would like to change the system so they could define the pickup shelves they have and Koha would suggest on check in the next free shelf for the item. With this the libraries can define shelves like Monday10, Monday11, Monday12 for example and add holds to shelves by date and time for patrons to pick them up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 15655] Do not display patron information on biblio detail page if not allowed
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Mar '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15655 --- Comment #4 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- (In reply to Katrin Fischer from comment #1) > I am not sure if it should be the circulation permission. > I think borrowers or a new sub permission to borrowers would make sense. It > already has a sub permission now for viewing other libraries patrons. Note that "Checkout history" doesn't fully work with "viewing other libraries patrons" (see bug 39429) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15655 --- Comment #3 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- I reckon we need to do something about this. Personally, I think a circ desk clerk could look up a patron and check out to them, but I don't think they need to know the circulation history for that patron (at least in some library environments). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
