https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=18317 Bug ID: 18317 Summary: Allow check out of already checked out items trough sip Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: marianne.rolfsen(a)kul.oslo.kommune.no QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com We see the need to have the ability to allow already checked out material to be checked out by an another patron automatically when using the automat (sip). Today a patron is not allowed to check out already checked out material when using the automat (sip).(In the staff client you can override this if you scan the barcode). There are several reason for allowing this: Case 1: If a patron, patron no.1, fails to deliver the item properly (the item is still on loan on his account) and the item is placed on the shelf where it belongs. The next patron(no.2) who picks it up and borrows it, can in this way correct the error of patron no.1 without contacting the staff. Today we risk that patron no.1 will receive fines even though he has delivered it. Or even worse patron no.2 has borrowed it (failed to see og ignored the message on the automat) and patron nr. 1 gets the fines. Case 2: If a patron has an item on loan that belongs to another branch, has no renewals left and wishes to borrow it again. He will be able to do so if there are no one on the waiting list. Because we have many branches that are open without any staff present, this feature is even more important. The patrons will be much more self-sufficient - also during the hours when the library is open but without staff. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 24101] New: Due date to on-site loans according to the calendar and possibility to renew on-site loans
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 14 May '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24101 Bug ID: 24101 Summary: Due date to on-site loans according to the calendar and possibility to renew on-site loans Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: inkeri.hakulinen+bugz(a)helsinki.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com We have reading rooms, where patrons can have their on-site loans available for them for a long time - even a year or more! (That is, if no one else needs that item in the meanwhile, and makes a hold for it.) We wish to be able to distinguish the on-site loans from the checkouts they take home. The on-site option is good for this, because it shows clearly to the patrons and to the staff that the loans are on-site. However, we need two improvements to Koha for this. First, we need the option to set the due date automatically according to the calendar and the circulation rules, taking into account the holidays and the loan period that is set to the patron and to the item. In addition, we need the option for the patrons to be able to renew their on-site loans, too. Now the on-site loans are non-renewable, so if the patron needs them longer than what is set to due date originally, it would be good for them to be able to renew the loans themselves through our OPAC. Now the renewal is impossible altogether. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 39471] New: WCAG 2.4:2.4.4 - Link Purpose (In Context)
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 13 May '25

13 May '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39471 Bug ID: 39471 Summary: WCAG 2.4:2.4.4 - Link Purpose (In Context) Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Accessibility Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk, matt.blenkinsop(a)openfifth.co.uk, oleonard(a)myacpl.org Across Koha's OAPC, links and buttons are generally very clear and contain suitable aria-label text. However, on the ‘Details for’ pages, there are repeated ‘Browse shelf’ links that require additional context to be clear. Solution: Ensure that the meaning of all links and buttons is clear without relying on surrounding content: • For text links, hyperlink the descriptive part of the sentence. Keep link text short and succinct so it can easily be identified and understood by screen reader users • For buttons, add an aria label or aria-labelledby attribute to provide the relevant context -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 35892] New: Fallback to GetMarcPrice in addorderiso2907 no longer works
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 13 May '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35892 Bug ID: 35892 Summary: Fallback to GetMarcPrice in addorderiso2907 no longer works Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Bug 34169 broke a fall back to the GetMarcPrice routine when ordering from a file. Previously if there was no order, the field was blank and evaluated as 'false' and we used the price from the MARC record. Now the field is '0.00' if no price is mapped in MarcFieldsToOrder. perl -e 'warn "True" if "0.00"'; IN addorderiso2907.pl: my $c_price = $input->param( 'price_' . $import_record->import_record_id ) || GetMarcPrice( $marcrecord, C4::Context->preference('marcflavour') ); We could simply add 0 to tthe value to make it a number: perl -e 'warn "True" if "0.00"+ 0'; However, this would mean leaving the field at 0.00 when you didn't pay for something would change it to the GetMarcPrice. I think the solution may be to populate the field using the GetMarcPrice on the initial load. You can workaround this by adding the fallback to the MarcFieldsToOrder system preference: price: 947$c|020$c Which may be a viable solution for updating/editing the default values/documentatoin for that preference -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
