This note field was left off the Point of sale interface. This is REALLY NEEDED. We have a payment type of Check that we offer because, we accept checks. Currently, MARC21 XML is stored as a single XML blob, making advanced querying, reporting, and integration difficult. This plugin introduces an automatic normalization step triggered by the after_biblio_action hook whenever metadata is added or modified. It splits MARC XML into normalized relational tables fully supporting repeatable fields, subfields, and indicators. Advantages: Significantly simplifies complex querying and reporting of MARC21 data. Enhances data integrity and consistency. Facilitates integration with external reporting tools, analytics, and applications. Improves database performance for MARC metadata queries. Provides clear and structured access to MARC data elements. The content to be repeated gets wrapped in a set of dashed lines that I called "digest tags" in the bug title. Like: Hey Patron, These books got checked out: ---- [% biblio.title %] ---- While a full list of titles works well in an email, it can get prohibitively long in an SMS, so some libraries prefer a single static line for their SMS notice. However, if one fully omits those digest tags Koha will repeat the entire notice per item. If no digest tags are included in the template, Koha should not repeat any of the content on subsequent items. Let's say I have a patron attribute type STUDENTID, and I want to limit this attribute to the categories "undergrad students" and "grad students". I have to create two different patron attribute types.
