Since Bug 9596 the longoverdue cron can be limited by branch, but it follows CircControl when doing so. Lost item fee and processing fee refunds also follow CircControl. However, some libraries want checkout limits and periods to be governed by issuing branch but lost item behavior to be based on the owning library of the item. This is against a number of accessibility guidelines, and just doesn't look very nice. I believe we could merge a number of the current columns to display the same data vertically in one column. I think the item details (author, title, article title, issue, volume, year, pages) could all be merged into a column that looks more like how we display search catalogue search results. I'm working with a library that uses a mix of manual and automatic renewals. For items that auto-renew, the renewal happens two days before the item is due, so they want RenewalPeriodBase set to add time on to the existing due date so the patron gets their full renewal period. They switch to daylight savings on April 25, today. This makes 2025-04-25 00:00-00:59 invalid times. It's not possible to access any patron account's details or checkouts tab. They all result in an error 500. This means that circulation is no longer possible. In the logs there is only an error from plack-error.log: Invalid local time for date in time zone: Africa/Cairo. All other tabs in the patron account work, so we think it might have something to do with some of the code shared between circulation.pl and moremember.pl. As it appears in multiple instances it doesn't appear to be data related.
