[Bug 38165] New: Add a view to the staff interface to manage bookings of a library
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 30 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38165 Bug ID: 38165 Summary: Add a view to the staff interface to manage bookings of a library Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: paul.derscheid(a)lmscloud.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com At the moment there's no real overview of all bookings in the staff interface. The goal of this bug is to provide one that lets staff modify and cancel bookings as well as transforming them into checkouts. I think a good place for this would just be another section under the Circulation section of the staff interface. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39962 Bug ID: 39962 Summary: Recalled status does not show properly on staff interface record detail page Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: aleisha(a)catalyst.net.nz QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com To reproduce: 1. Enable the UseRecalls system preference and set the recalls-related circulation and fines rules. 2. Search for an item. 3. Check out an item to Patron B. 4. Log into the OPAC as Patron A. 5. Request a record-level recall on the record. 6. View the record on the staff interface and look at the holdings table. Notice that the checked out item shows no indication of being recalled, but the recall request does show on the Recalls tab. --> BUG 7. Go to the Recalls tab and cancel the recall. 8. Go back to the OPAC and request an item-level recall on the checked out item. 9. View the record on the staff interface and look at the holdings table. Notice that the checked out item now shows the recalled status, twice. "Recalled by koha (42) on DATE" --> BUG -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 24910] New: Make it possible to choose see also-authorities in authority finder
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24910 Bug ID: 24910 Summary: Make it possible to choose see also-authorities in authority finder Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl When searching for authorities, sometimes you may see the result you want to select in a see also, but it is not possible to *choose* that one. You have to do another search to get it into the results list of auth finder. Wouldnt it be nice if we could somehow add a link to choose them too? The current link allows you to open them, but this seems less useful at least in our case. Would a preference be useful to switch between choosing or opening ? Or should we add a small link? How could we address that best in terms of styling etc? Your feedback is appreciated ! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 40394] New: Coce cover images should be requested in chunks
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40394 Bug ID: 40394 Summary: Coce cover images should be requested in chunks Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Templates Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org If you choose to display 100 results per page when searching the catalog, the current Coce client implementation will pick all the identifiers, and make an API call to Coce for the 100 ids. This is problematic because: * It can be overwhelming for the Coce server (it will make a thread/worker busy for too long even when another is idle). * It makes the rendering slow or unreliable. We should at least split the ids list into chunks of some fixed (limited) size. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 39419] New: Holds API treats 'expiration_date' as 'patron_expiration_date'
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39419 Bug ID: 39419 Summary: Holds API treats 'expiration_date' as 'patron_expiration_date' Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com This is going to have a related issue in Aspen, but I think the confusion starts here Koha has two fields for hold expiration: expirationdate - (usually) auto generated date set based no when holds on the shelf expire patron_exiration_date - the day the patron says they don't need the hold after The API takes "expiration_date" and maps it to "patron_expiration_date" This can be unclear for outside systems. Aspen has a 'Default Not Needed After Days' setting which is assumed to be setting the automatic expiraton date, but in fact sets the patron date We should allow either field to be set via the API -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 32328] New: Add ability to specify how long an item stays on a library's holds queue
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Sep '26

29 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=32328 Bug ID: 32328 Summary: Add ability to specify how long an item stays on a library's holds queue Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bwsdonna(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com With multi-location libraries that are open varying hours, it would be helpful to be able to specify how long an item appears on a library's hold queue before the item appears on another location's queue. For example, Title A is available at both Library D and Library E. The patron wants to pickup the item at Library D. Library D is closed Saturday and Sunday, but Library E is not. Currently, the item could potentially show on Library E's hold queue. Since it takes three days of transit time to move the item from Library E to Library D, it would be faster to fill the hold from Library D, but because it was moved off Library D's queue, it won't be filled there. It would be nice to be able to specify by Library how long an item will appear on the holds queue for that library before it is moved, and the item is sent from another library. Using Holds Queue Skip Closed (and the other associated sys prefs) does not address this sufficiently. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
