However, if an item is not currently checked out, the value "On shelf" displays, which can be misleading. For example, if an item is in transit to another location, this field still reads as "On shelf". This is confusing, since the item is not actually on the shelf anymore, but rather in transit. I'm not sure what the best answer is. However, there is no link to a modification log when viewing an authority record. In order to look at an authority log, the user has to go to Tools > Logs, select authorities and then enter the object (authority record number). Not a big deal, but maybe not as convenient as accessing the log from the authority record where the record number is automatically entered into the object field. Some libraries need to have an explanation of the change, especially if a staff member changes the priority. Currently, you cannot edit a hold after it is placed. The bug is that, when you check in an item that is non-reservable (holds allowed is 0), it will trigger the holds pop-up and can fill a biblio-level hold ("next available").
