It would be really helpful to be able to expire the account when the patron category is changed. The reason behind this specific situation is when patrons become "adults" libraries need to get a new application form signed, so the individual is now responsible for the account. To recreate: -Find or create a staff member with no permissions from the lists group -While logged in as that staff member, perform a catalog search, select the checkboxes on multiple search results, and click the 'Add to list' button -Select the 'New list' option -Note the option to set the new list to public or private - set to 'Public' -Go to Lists, and note that no Public lists tab shows (so you can't see the list you just created) -Next, log in as a staff member with edit_public_list_contents -Go to Lists, and note that the list created by the permission-less staff member shows up in Public lists -Note that the list is also visible in the OPAC -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. And many libraries are not using it to full advantage because the only way to edit it is from the edit item form, not easily accessible from the items page (moredetail.pl) like other statuses. It would be nice if, perhaps by system preference, a library could optionally make editing of the not for loan status available from moredetail.pl. The notice templates for those two cases are ILL_REQUEST_CANCEL and ILL_REQUEST_MODIFIED. It would be great if there was also a possibility to automatically send a mail to staff when a patron first creates a request. As ashimema said (paraphrasing here): it would be good to generally add hooks and tie them to the status field so that any status change of an ILL request triggers the corresponding ILL_REQUEST_NEWSTATUS notice if it exists (where NEWSTATUS stands for the new status after the status has changed). Some status changes for instance: ILL_REQUEST_NEW -> sent when request is first created.
