[Bug 19501] New: New list category to restrict specific lists to staff & hide from OPAC
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19501 Bug ID: 19501 Summary: New list category to restrict specific lists to staff & hide from OPAC Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Lists Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: Jeremy.evans(a)nibsc.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl We are creating various lists of titles that need to be hidden from view in the OPAC for the time being but other staff members need to see them. At the moment the options are Public or Private so this won't do what we require. We would like an additional list category selection of Staff so that those lists are then visible in the staff client (& presumably also to anyone who logs into the OPAC with a staff permissions login) but are not publicly visible in the OPAC. The intention is that multiple staff members may need to add items to some of these lists. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

Currently, they would first have to navigate to circulation history tab. Ease their workflow by displaying the previous checkout date in the warning message itself. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43401] New: Makefile.PL doesn't compile vue OPAC js to the right directory

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43401 Bug ID: 43401 Summary: Makefile.PL doesn't compile vue OPAC js to the right directory Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lucas(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- We've notices a problem on sites now using 26.05 and problems with vue island related stuff. I found the problem through the new self renewal via OPAC feature which has a modal loaded through: koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/js/vue/components/Islands/PatronSelfRenewal/PatronSelfRenewal.vue The compiled js files on the 26.05 server only show in the intranet directory: intranet-tmpl/prog/js/vue/dist/patron-self-renewal The code expects this in an opac directory. I think MakeFile.PL just isnt accounting for this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 8137] Checkout limit for all libraries
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 20 Oct '26

20 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=8137 --- Comment #178 from Thibaud Guillot (thibaud_g) <thibaud.guillot(a)biblibre.com> --- Hello, Thanks for your feedback.. so this one has become super long.. :) For transparency: I used Claude Code (Anthropic) as an assistant on this rework. It helped me to find additional bugs, global limits that didn't apply in particular and I decided for more clarity in view of the changes to make a new Sign off request. Note on tests: all checks pass on the files of the series, except pod_coverage on t/lib/TestBuilder.pm but it failed on main too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=8137 --- Comment #176 from Thibaud Guillot (thibaud_g) <thibaud.guillot(a)biblibre.com> --- Created attachment 208536 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=208536&action=e… Bug 8137: Add 'Global checkout limits' table to circulation rules page This adds a "Global checkout limits" table to the circulation and fines rules page, to set global maxissueqty and maxonsiteissueqty rules by patron category and item type. The table can be edited from the rules for all libraries only, and is shown read-only on library pages when global limits exist. Test plan: 1. Go to Administration > Circulation and fines rules, all libraries 2. In "Global checkout limits", add All/All: 2 and 1 => The row is listed 3. Edit the row, set current checkouts allowed to 0 and save => 0 is displayed (not "Not defined") 4. Edit the row, empty current on-site checkouts allowed and save => "Not defined" is displayed, the rule is removed 5. Edit the row, click Clear => The global limits edit row is cleared, the main rules edit row is not 6. Select a library => The global limits are listed read-only, without actions nor edit row 7. Delete the row from all libraries => The table is empty, and not shown on library pages anymore Sponsored-by: BibLibre Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply(a)anthropic.com> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=8137 --- Comment #175 from Thibaud Guillot (thibaud_g) <thibaud.guillot(a)biblibre.com> --- Created attachment 208535 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=208535&action=e… Bug 8137: Add global circulation rules, used for checkout limits With CircControl set to the library the item is from (or the pickup library), checkout limits only count the patron's checkouts from one library, so a patron can accumulate checkouts across libraries. When a global limit is reached, the checkout message says the maximum comes from the global checkout limit. Global rules are not cloned nor removed when cloning circulation rules, and are not returned by GET /circulation_rules. Test plan (the global checkout limits table is added by the next patch): 1. Apply the patches, run updatedatabase, restart all 2. Set CircControl to "the library the item is from" 3. Circulation and fines rules, all libraries: - default rule, all/all: current checkouts allowed 5 - Global checkout limits, All/All: current checkouts allowed 2 4. Check out 2 items from library A to a patron 5. Check out an item from library B to the same patron => Too many checked out. 2 checked out, only 2 are allowed. => "Maximum checkouts calculated from the global checkout limit for" 6. Add a global checkout limit All/BOOK: 1, and change All/All to 5 7. Check in all items, check out a BOOK item from library A 8. Check out a BOOK item from library B => Blocked, only 1 is allowed (global limit for BOOK) 9. Check out 4 items of other item types from any library 10. Check out a fifth one => Blocked, only 5 are allowed (global limit for all item types) 11. Add a global checkout limit for the patron's category, All item types: 7 => The patron can check out up to 7 items, BOOK still limited to 1 12. Clone the rules from "all libraries" to library A => The global checkout limits are unchanged and not copied to library A 13. prove t/db_dependent/Koha/CirculationRules.t t/db_dependent/Circulation/TooMany.t Sponsored-by: BibLibre Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply(a)anthropic.com> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

A rule with no library and this flag set is a global (network-wide) rule. The next patches use it for global checkout limits. Test plan: 1. Apply this patch 2. Run updatedatabase => "Added column 'circulation_rules.has_priority'" 3. Check the column exists with its comment: SHOW CREATE TABLE circulation_rules; 4.
