When you try to delete the default patron card template, Koha returns a 500 error. I thought it was maybe because the patron card template was linked to a printer profile and this blocked the deletion, but I doesn't seem like it. If we edit the card template (without changing anything), then we can delete it. To recreate: 1. Go to Tools > Patron card creator 2. Click Manage > Card templates 3. Click Delete next to the HB-PC0001 template --> Error 500 4. Go back, and click Edit next to the HB-PC0001 template 5. Don't change anything, and click Save 6. Click Delete next to the HB-PC0001 template and confirm --> Card template is deleted Same goes for a printer profile (with fresh db) To recreate: 0. reset_all 1. Go to Tools > Patron card creator 2. Click Manage > Printer profiles 3. Click Delete next to the '16' printer profile --> Error 500 4. Go back, and click Edit next to the '16' profile 5. Don't change anything, and click Save 6. These values have been editable for a long time, but putting boxes around them makes it really clear that this is possible. But manual editing of those subfield tags is not really the expected way to use this editor and opens one up to numerous cataloging errors. For this sort of unguided cataloging, we expect one to use the advanced editor. I suggest we make those boxes go away again to make this questionable feature less obvious. Luckily, the copies have their own id attribute first, so the duplicate ones are dropped by parsers since an element can't have two ids, but having duplicates is confusing. Go to the OPAC advanced search page, the item types should be correctly displaying under ITEMTYPECAT with the correct description from ITEMTYPECAT. 3. Create a new AV called OTHER in a different category like 'ERM_AGREEMENT_CLOSURE_REASON'. Make the description something different like 'Wrong description'. 4.
