https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35052 Bug ID: 35052 Summary: OpacHiddenItemsHidesRecord system preference should be considered on index time instead Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: pedro.amorim(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: alexander.blanchard(a)ptfs-europe.com, dcook(a)prosentient.com.au, jacob.omara(a)ptfs-europe.com, jonathan.field(a)ptfs-europe.com, martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com, matt.blenkinsop(a)ptfs-europe.com Currently, results are being skipped after the search has been processed in C4/Search.pm. This may cause several unintended scenarios: 1) The first page has all the results skipped, even thought there are more results in 2nd page and so on, this will will result in a "No search results" page 2) The total search results number still shows 80 (for example), even if it has skipped 70 and is only showing 10. To reproduce we need to use both OpacHiddenItems and OpacHiddenItemsHidesRecord Use OpacHiddenItems and put some rules that hide some items Use OpacHiddenItemsHidesRecord = 'hide' -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 24910] New: Make it possible to choose see also-authorities in authority finder

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24910 Bug ID: 24910 Summary: Make it possible to choose see also-authorities in authority finder Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl When searching for authorities, sometimes you may see the result you want to select in a see also, but it is not possible to *choose* that one. You have to do another search to get it into the results list of auth finder. Wouldnt it be nice if we could somehow add a link to choose them too? The current link allows you to open them, but this seems less useful at least in our case. Would a preference be useful to switch between choosing or opening ? Or should we add a small link? How could we address that best in terms of styling etc? Your feedback is appreciated ! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 37985] New: Extend geo-search to support areas, not just points (MARC 034 subfields defg)
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37985 Bug ID: 37985 Summary: Extend geo-search to support areas, not just points (MARC 034 subfields defg) Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching - Elasticsearch Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tadeusz(a)sosnierz.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Bug 31652 ("Add geo-search") implements indexing geographic coordinates (034s,t) in Elasticsearch to enable searching for records referring to specific coordinates. Some records (or authorities) will refer to whole areas, which MARC encodes as north/south/east/westmost points. Since elasticsearch supports indexing shapes, not just points, it would be a nice improvement to be able to index this as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. A closed stack item is an item that is not available publicly in the library but can be made available on demand. When a request is made, a librarian will print a slip then will go retrieve the document and place the slip in place of the document. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 28740] New: Delete old ILL requests with cleanup_database
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 19 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28740 Bug ID: 28740 Summary: Delete old ILL requests with cleanup_database Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz, tomascohen(a)gmail.com We should teach cleanup_database to delete old ILL requests after a given period. Over in bug 23391, we introduced a syspref in which one can define statuses for which to hide ILL requests. Following that same idea of allowing whatever statuses a given back-end may use, the cron should take a number of days and a status and delete any request with that status that is more than that many days old. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 22108] New: Items generated through MARCItemFieldsToOrder do not receive values applied in Item Information and Default Accounting Details
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 19 Oct '26

19 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=22108 Bug ID: 22108 Summary: Items generated through MARCItemFieldsToOrder do not receive values applied in Item Information and Default Accounting Details Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 18.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- When adding titles to a basket from a staged file (acqui/addorderiso2709.pl), item and fund choices can be applied item-by-item on the Select To Import tab or can be applied to all titles at once using the Item Information or Default Accounting Details tabs. However, if the library is using MARCItemFieldsToOrder to pull some of these values from vendor-supplied MARC files, Koha will ignore selections made on the Item Information or Default Accounting Details tabs. Nothing in the interface indicates that values selected on those tabs will not be used. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 40869] New: Preserve mandatory fields even if hidden when duplicating item
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 19 Oct '26

19 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40869 Bug ID: 40869 Summary: Preserve mandatory fields even if hidden when duplicating item Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff interface Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: glasklas(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com When item fields are mandatory, which usually indicate they are somehow critical for functionality and expected to exist in Koha, it makes sense they should be preserved when duplicating an item, even if the field is hidden. Right now hidden fields are ignored using the "ignore_invisible_subfields" option in the form builder for item. If for current library (holding branch) is hidden (which is the case for our library), the biblio page will crash after duplicating an item, which now has a missing holding branch. Fixing this is simple by adding a check for the mandatory attribute in the check for "ignore_invisible_subfields" (I also renamed this option to "ignore_non_mandatory_invisible_subfields" for clarity. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
