[Bug 29562] New: CanItemBeReserved should take patron and item objects as parameters
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Apr '26

17 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29562 Bug ID: 29562 Summary: CanItemBeReserved should take patron and item objects as parameters Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CanItemBeReserved takes a borrowernumber and an itemnumber and then fetches the objects to do calculations. Most calls to the routine already have the object, so we should be able to pass them CanBookBeReserved loops on every item, fetching the patron anew each time. Changing the parameters will increase performance. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 41689] New: "Staff note" and "OPAC" message types in patron files untranslatable

To recreate: 1. Go to a patron account > Add message 2. Add a message with "Staff - Internal note" 3. Add a second message with "OPAC - [Name]" 4. Add a language to your Koha gulp po:update --lang fr-CA ./misc/translator/translate install fr-CA Add the language in StaffInterfaceLanguages 5. Switch to the new language 6. Go to the patron's account --> Staff note is in english --> OPAC is in English (this is normal in fr-CA because we still call it OPAC even if it's an english term, but could be different in another language) 7. Check the translation files cd misc/translator/po/ git grep "Staff notes" fr-CA* --> There is nothing from patron-messages.inc -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 42144] New: item search : in search form only display the locations corresponding to the selected libraries
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Apr '26

17 Apr '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42144 Bug ID: 42144 Summary: item search : in search form only display the locations corresponding to the selected libraries Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: mathsabypro(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org If you have 10 libraries and 150 locations it is very tedious to use the item search form. It would be nice to display only the locations that correspond to the selected libraries. If no library is selected, display all the locations. My library had created a custom JavaScript solution to handle this, but it stopped working after the update to 24.11. It would be cleaner to incorporate this improvement into Koha's main code. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 10190] Overdue notice triggers based on item type

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10190 --- Comment #675 from Chloé Zermatten <chloe.zermatten(a)openfifth.co.uk> --- Created attachment 197640 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=197640&action=e… Bug 10190: (QA follow-up): UI/UX bug fixes - phase two Fix: handle exiting modal - prevent data reload when the user exits the modal - as preparation for the above: refactor to use one handler only Fix: new trigger saves with delay defined - Identified an old refactor omission - we were still passing 'i' despite the from now relying on this.triggerNumber Fix: return to correct trigger tab after save or reset Fix: restore delete button and bold italic info - restore display, fixes a regression introduced by the previous UI/UX patch set Fix: order dropdown options by description or name (not code) Fix: circ rule resets - restore reset funtionality (mtt was still occasionally passed as a string, and would then get compared to an array. Ensure this is not the case.) - do not trigger the data refresh if the current ruleset did not get deleted - make sure triggerNumber is defined when navigation is caused by reset - ensure that the rules to be reset display consistently Assisted-by: Claude Opus 4.6 (Anthropic) AI used to help trace back potential bug sources and draft fixes.
