It occurs to me that this process can be streamlined by allowing an input stage to the summaries process so staff interaction with summaries is not the cashing up to package the transactions into a summary (we want the daily summaries to happen automatically) we want the staff input to be to add in (against totals for payment type and cash register) the amount of what was actually taken using the z reports and physical cash, i.e. a reconciliation stage so it will be easy for staff to see if the money is 'out' and then a process to reconciliate with a way to add in a note for the summary they are signing off with an perhaps a way for them to then 'balance the books' to account for the discrepancy. We would then need this staff input on the summaries (the physical amount taken and any notes) to be stored in a table, somewhere logical, so we can then report on this and create a way in which library managers can check in on this if needed and audit. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. This meant that there was a third entry for "Miracles" in our authorities. As you can see I could in the video, this can be fixed manually, but this should not be solution. Also, I don't think that one should tell Koha cataloguers in the English-speaking world who use Marc21 to not use the OCLC fast subject headings, which would probably solve the problem). For a while, I had suspected that Koha does this, as I have repeatedly fixed the same, duplicate authorities, in the last 6-8 months, since moving to Koha. This is really a serious inefficiency, and could put off any cataloguer from Koha. Maybe currently Koha does not really look at the indicators (second indicator 0 = Library of Congress, second indicator 7 = scheme specified in subfield 2). Maybe that would be a starting point for allowing several entries with the same basic string of of characters, whilst the actual entry is different...? I would be grateful if other Koha cataloguers in the Marc21 / English-speaking world would like into this, and if I'm missing a solution, please let me know. For SMTP connections in Koha, we use Email::Sender::Transport::SMTP::Persistent which uses Authen::SASL which uses libsasl2 (if available) or a pure Perl fallback. Out of the box, neither libsasl2 nor Authen::SASL::Perl provides XOAUTH2 support. However, there are a number of SASL plugins out there. If sip2_resource_last_modified is missing from memcached, Koha SIP emits "Couldn't find sip2_resource_last_modified, considering configuration not up to date" in the logs, and fetches the entire configuration from the database, *for each request*. This causes SIP performance to drop significantly. In my production testing with 83 institutions and 171 accounts the login message response time dropped from 0.283 seconds to 2.899 seconds. I think the solution is pretty simple. If there is a cache miss on sip2_resource_last_modified, SIP should load the config from database as it does already, but then it should also set sip2_resource_last_modified! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. When using OIDC authentication we often (but not always) get the error message "There was an error authenticating to external identity provider wrong_csrf_token" in OPAC or staff.
