[Bug 43199] New: Evaluate migration from DBIx::Class to DBIO
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Jul '26

29 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43199 Bug ID: 43199 Summary: Evaluate migration from DBIx::Class to DBIO Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- DBIO (https://codeberg.org/dbio/dbio) is a hard fork of DBIx::Class that Koha should aim to migrate to over time. This bug tracks the DBIO project evolution and the eventual development of migration tooling. Key benefits for Koha: - SQL::Abstract (modern) replaces SQL::Abstract::Classic - Native desired-state deployment (no SQL::Translator dependency) - Async storage interface (all_async, find_async, etc.) - Built-in replicated storage with access brokers (rotating credentials) - Automatic change tracking (insert/update/delete logging) - DBIO::Candy / DBIO::Cake sugar for result class definitions - Internal fixes (e.g. get_from_storage no longer triggers spurious __DIE__ exceptions on tables with multiple unique constraints) Migration path is expected to be largely mechanical (namespace rename from DBIx::Class:: to DBIO::), but will require: 1. Tooling to regenerate Koha::Schema::Result classes under the DBIO namespace 2. Audit of any SQL::Abstract::Classic-specific syntax in searches 3. Replacement of SQL::Translator-based deploy with DBIO's native deploy 4. Testing on all supported databases (MySQL/MariaDB primarily) This is a long-term tracking bug. No immediate action required. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

It should be updated to use BS5 like "btn btn-default" or even "btn btn-primary". Right now it blurs into the background. It's not good. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30819 Bug ID: 30819 Summary: Not able to adjust size of barcode numbers Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 20.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Label/patron card printing Assignee: cnighswonger(a)foundations.edu Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Moved from the original bug 10762: (In reply to Jesse Maseto from comment #0) > I created a new layout (section 2.5.3.1 in the manual) that just shows the > barcode, and I set the font size big. First I did 14, then 32 just to make > sure my eyes weren't deceiving me. The numbers below the barcode didn't > change size! > > It seems like the font settings only affect the bibliographic data. What I > want to change is the barcode number itself. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
