[Bug 42963] New: Add POST endpoint for cash register cashups
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 01 Jul '26

01 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42963 Bug ID: 42963 Summary: Add POST endpoint for cash register cashups Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: REST API Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com Target Milestone: --- This is part of the Point of Sale to Vue migration tracked under bug 42959. GET /api/v1/cash_registers/{cash_register_id}/cashups already exists but there is no way to record a cashup via the API. The staff interface pages pos/register.pl and pos/registers.pl currently call Koha::Cash::Register->add_cashup() directly from Perl, including a bulk cashup action across multiple registers. This patch should add POST /api/v1/cash_registers/{cash_register_id}/cashups to record a single cashup. It should also settle, as part of the design discussion, whether bulk cashup (cashing up several registers at once) is best modelled as repeated client-side calls to this endpoint or as a genuine batch endpoint. Test plan: 1. Perform a cashup via the new endpoint and confirm it matches the result of the existing Koha::Cash::Register->add_cashup() call. 2. Confirm permissions match the existing cash_management cashup requirement. 3. Add unit tests under t/db_dependent/api/v1/. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 42962] New: Expose cash register outstanding accountlines via REST API
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 01 Jul '26

01 Jul '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42962 Bug ID: 42962 Summary: Expose cash register outstanding accountlines via REST API Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: REST API Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com Target Milestone: --- This is part of the Point of Sale to Vue migration tracked under bug 42959. The staff interface pages pos/register.pl and pos/registers.pl currently fetch a cash register's outstanding (uncollected) accountlines via the Perl method Koha::Cash::Register->outstanding_accountlines(). There is no REST equivalent, which blocks building a Vue-based register view. This patch should add a way to retrieve a register's outstanding accountlines via the API, either as a filter/embed on the existing accountlines resource (e.g. a cash_register_id query parameter) or as a dedicated endpoint such as GET /api/v1/cash_registers/{cash_register_id}/accountlines. Prefer reusing the existing accountlines representation rather than introducing a parallel schema. Test plan: 1. Review the chosen approach against the existing accountlines REST resource for consistency. 2. Confirm the new filter/endpoint returns only outstanding accountlines for the given register. 3. Add unit tests under t/db_dependent/api/v1/. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 41493] New: Add New Item Statistical Fields

Instead of a single "checkouts" count for the entire life of the item, have a total checkouts, ytd checkouts, and maybe even a previous ytd checkouts. Seeing the recent activity can be a useful indicator when doing collection development (either adding or weeding). An item popular 4 years ago might have tons of circulation but is no longer serving the public and it hasn't been checked out a single time in the last year. Perhaps there's a new edition, perhaps something else happened. Just looking at the lifetime circ can make a title seem to have more relevance that it should. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. This search box will help us when we have a lot of records in a list. It would be useful. It could be a tables like on this page circ/overdue.pl.
