To reproduce: Log into the OPAC and add a list Add an item to that list. Try to delete it - nothing happens. It generates the following errors in the browser console: Uncaught TypeError: s.escapeHtml is not a function at escape_str (global_25.1106000.js:53:26) at HTMLButtonElement.<anonymous> (opac-shelves.pl:2094:81) at HTMLButtonElement.dispatch (jquery-3.6.0.min_25.1106000.js:2:43064) at v.handle (jquery-3.6.0.min_25.1106000.js:2:41048) To get around this, it is necessary to delete all the items from the list first before you can successfully delete the list -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43082] New: Flaky action_logs.t object filter test due to default LIKE matching
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 26 Oct '26

26 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43082 Bug ID: 43082 Summary: Flaky action_logs.t object filter test due to default LIKE matching Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Test Suite Assignee: chris(a)bigballofwax.co.nz Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- This patch fixes an intermittent failure in t/db_dependent/api/v1/action_logs.t. The 'object filter returns rows for object 42' assertion queries the REST API with ?object=42. Koha's REST API defaults every typed query parameter, including integer columns, to _match=contains, which builds a LIKE '%42%' query (Koha/REST/Plugin/Query.pm). This means the filter also matches any object value that merely contains "42" as a substring, e.g. 420, 142, 1042. The test's own fixture data uses a dynamically assigned patron borrowernumber (auto_increment, never reset by transaction rollback) as the object value for other rows logged in the same subtest. When that value drifts into a range containing "42" as a substring during a full CI run, the assertion intermittently counts an extra row and fails, even though the test passes reliably in isolation. The fix adds _match=exact to the object filter request, matching the test's actual intent of an exact object id match. Test plan: 1. Run prove t/db_dependent/api/v1/action_logs.t - it passes. 2. To see the underlying bug, insert an action_log row with object 42 and another with object 420, then query GET /api/v1/action_logs?object=42 without _match=exact - both rows are incorrectly returned. 3. Apply the patch and repeat step 1 - only the exact-match row is expected and returned. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 35729] New: Coce Should Account for New ISBN 979*

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35729 Bug ID: 35729 Summary: Coce Should Account for New ISBN 979* Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kalleen(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl Hi, I noticed that there was a cover mismatch with a coce_amazon cover because the new 2024 title has an ISBN of 9798885795692 (using the 979 instead of 978). There is an Italian title with an ISBN of 8885795692 that is showing instead. It looks like they have updated the valid ISBN standards: https://isbn.org/about_isbn_standard and it seems like coce should be updated to recognize this new standard and not match 9798885795692 to be the same as 8885795692. [Bug 42973] New: Additional contents ordering ignores "Appear in position" when sorting news
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 26 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42973 Bug ID: 42973 Summary: Additional contents ordering ignores "Appear in position" when sorting news Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: Laura.escamilla(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- Bug 39027 changed the default ordering of news items to use the publication date (newest first). However, this change no longer respects the manual "Appear in position" value (additional_content.number). Previously, libraries could assign a position number to pin or manually order specific news items. After Bug 39027, news items are always ordered by publication date, regardless of whether a manual position has been assigned. To recreate: 1. Create two or more news items. 2. Assign an "Appear in position" value to one of the items (for example, 1). 3. Give another news item a more recent publication date. 4. View the news on the OPAC or staff interface. 5. Notice that the newer item is displayed first instead of the item with the assigned position. Expected behavior: If a news item has an "Appear in position" value, that value should take precedence over the default publication date ordering. News items without a manual position should continue to be ordered by publication date (newest first). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 42298] New: "No automatic renewal before" falls back to "No renewal before" if former is greater than the latter
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 26 Oct '26

26 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42298 Bug ID: 42298 Summary: "No automatic renewal before" falls back to "No renewal before" if former is greater than the latter Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lari.taskula(a)hypernova.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz Although this discovery was made due to a misconfiguration (we actually meant "no automatic renewals before" to have a value smaller than "no renewal before"), I think this finding is still worth reporting. --- Koha has two circulation rules for setting the earliest date a checkout can be renewed: "No renewal before" for manual renewals, and "No automatic renewal before" for automatic renewals. Using automatic renewals, we discovered that if circulation rule "No automatic renewal before" has a value greater than "No renewal before", automatic renewals are actually performed according to the "No renewal before" (manual) rule. Furthermore, this causes another bug where "too_soon" gets written in issues.auto_renew_error, instead of "auto_too_soon" as should be expected when called from the automatic_renewals.pl cronjob. This incorrect error status then causes yet another issue in AUTO_RENEWAL_DGST notices. The default notice template skips autorenewals with "auto_too_soon" error status, but since this bug writes it as "too_soon", the error is unhandled and such failed autorenewals unexpectedly become included in the notice. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
