To test: prove -vv t/db_dependent/Koha/Account/PrintNoticeCharges.t prove -vv t/db_dependent/Koha/Patron/Category.t prove -vv t/db_dependent/PrintNoticeCharging_EndToEnd.t Navigate to patron categories, and check that you can set a print notice charge amount Check that in messaging preferences, you can amend the preferences of print notices for both patrons and patron categories Check that in messaging preferences on the opac, you will receive a warning if print notice charging is enabled (set to anything other than 0 for this patron category) and a recommendation to set up email to avoid charges. [Bug 31114] New: OpacHiddenItems is not respected in search results when an OPAC search is filtered by branch
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Aug '26

04 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=31114 Bug ID: 31114 Summary: OpacHiddenItems is not respected in search results when an OPAC search is filtered by branch Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 21.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: lucy.vaux-harvey(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When filtering OPAC searches by library (OpacAddMastheadLibraryPulldown enabled) the search results will include title records where all items for that library are hidden from the OPAC due to the values in OpacHiddenItems. When clicking through to the detailed view of an affected record the copies are correctly hidden in the holdings table but it is confusing for the library customer to find the title in the search results. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 23269] New: Long hold queues are slowing the service

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23269 Bug ID: 23269 Summary: Long hold queues are slowing the service Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Templates Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: emmi.takkinen(a)outlook.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In Finlands public libraries hold queues can be huge due popular records having a lot of holds at the same time. Most popular records may even have over 1000 holds. This leads the service slowing significantly when browsing their holds page. There should be pagination in the holds table for efficient page loading. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 43221] New: Move recalls_per_record logic into shared and tested method
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 03 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43221 Bug ID: 43221 Summary: Move recalls_per_record logic into shared and tested method Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 24.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: aleisha(a)catalyst.net.nz Depends on: 31391 Target Milestone: --- As noted by Pedro on bug 31391: The recalls_per_record logic is copy-pasted near verbatim between opac/opac-recall.pl (48-65) and recalls/request.pl (61-78). This is a big maintenance risk if the rule ever changes. Should live in one shared method. [Bug 28862] New: Add suffix to name field

03 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28862 Bug ID: 28862 Summary: Add suffix to name field Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: rcoert(a)arlingtonva.us QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Requesting the addition to the name field for suffix entries (Jr., Sr. III, etc.). Ideally it would be a drop-down box that could be prepopulated (auth_value?) with common entries; allowing for cleaner data and easier account viewing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 29768] New: hidepatronname hides guarantor name on borrower edit screen
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 03 Aug '26

03 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29768 Bug ID: 29768 Summary: hidepatronname hides guarantor name on borrower edit screen Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 20.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bdaeuber(a)cityoffargo.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com The syspref hidepatronname is now hiding the guarantor name on memberentry.pl. This seems like a strange place to enforce that system preference since it's convenient for staff to be able to double check that info when editing patron information and personal information is already showing on that screen. It's not enforced on other patron details screens (such as moremember.pl) and I don't think it should impact patron edit screen either. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
