[Bug 8937] Translation process removes CDATA in RSS XML
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Aug '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=8937 --- Comment #23 from David Nind <david(a)davidnind.com> --- Created attachment 204511 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=204511&action=e… Bug 8937: Translation process removes CDATA in RSS XML During template translation, CDATA sections in RSS templates are not handled consistently. When parsing RSS content containing Template Toolkit directives inside CDATA blocks, the CDATA markers ( ... ) are only preserved only for the
tag. To reproduce 1. Install the other language (i used fr-CA here) 1.1. gulp po:update fr-CA 1.2. /misc/translator/translate install fr-CA 2. open and compare files that contain <![CDATA in description example: ./koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/en/modules/opac-opensearch.tt ./koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/bootstrap/fr-CA/modules/opac-opensearch.tt 3. In the fr-CA file the description tag ==> the <![CDATA is removed 3. Apply the patch 4. Repeat step 1.2, 2 and 3 ==> the <![CDATA is not removed 5. prove xt/author/tt_valid.t should pass. Note that we only have: > xt/author/tt_valid.t:use C4::TTParser; > > If that is not reasonable given the amount of work or so, please indicate. I added a test in xt/author/tt_valid.t using C4::TTParser to verify that CDATA markers are preserved -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 42318] New: Table record_sources is not populated with data on install

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42318 Bug ID: 42318 Summary: Table record_sources is not populated with data on install Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Installation and upgrade (command-line installer) Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bibliothek(a)th-wildau.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com In bug 35380 the table record_sources gets populated with system defined values as 'bulkmarcimport','intranet' and so on. As this works in updates via a script in db_revs (251200037.pl) these values are not populated on a new installation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
