To test: 0. On a fresh KTD 1. Enable and open the cataloguing advanced editor 2. Click on 'Advanced >>' on the left column => FAIL: Only non-SRU targets are displayed 3. Apply this patch and reload 4. Repeat 2 => SUCCESS: SRU server displayed! => SUCCESS: No authority server is displayed due to the change i.e. behavior remains unchanged besides SRU support 5. [Bug 39284] New: Holds with cancellation requests alert not consistent with other alerts
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Oct '25

29 Oct '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39284 Bug ID: 39284 Summary: Holds with cancellation requests alert not consistent with other alerts Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Bug 36064 introduced a new alert, which is fantastic. However, it is displaying and linking to ALL cancelled holds, not just for your branch. This is inconsistent with the behavior of other alerts. We either need a second line for just the branch, just like the material requests, or we need it to be consistent with patron modifications. It does not make sense to make all branches aware of all cancellations when some of those items are at other branches. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 8137] Checkout limit for all libraries
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 29 Oct '25

29 Oct '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=8137 --- Comment #153 from Lisette Scheer <lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com> --- When I was at a library, this is what I would expect from these rules: - CPL circulation matrix : Patron : All, Item type : All, checkouts : 5, on-site checkouts : 5 - a global checkout limits : Patron : All, Item type : All, checkouts : 8, on-site checkouts : 8 Would be that if I tried to check out 6 books at centerville, I'd get a warning, if I checked out 5 books at Centerville and 4 books at Fairfield, I'd get a warning on the last one. I know we've also had partners ask about this functionality following the same logic as I did. Your test plan and patch only really works if specific branches are more permissive than the general rule. I'd expect it to work more like the check that compares patron/item type rules to the default rules per branch, first it checks the most specific (branch/item type/patron type) match, then gets less specific (branch default) then if it hasn't hit that limit the global limit. I don't really see why a library would want to have a more permissive rule in their branch specific rules if the global limit blocks it anyway? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
