Create a patron with overdue items and fines. 2. Enable the ILL module, and CirculateILL 3. Create a request for the patron. 4. Confirm the request 5. Click on checkout and submit. The user will receive an error message that says, "There was a problem checking this item out, please check for problems with the patron's account." It is not clear to the staff person what problems are blocking the circulation. All overdue fines, charges, account expiration, and overdue items must be dealt with before the circulation can happen. Libraries would probably like to define the blocks more explicitly. Some possibilities might be: Block ILL circulation if fines are more than X Block ILL circulation if more than X items are overdue. To replicate in ktd: 1.) Add an item to a course - More > Course reserves - Click first course - Click Add reserves - Add barcode 3999900000001 - Go to the record (biblio: 1) and confirm the course shows in the holdings table 2.) Move the item - Navigate to another record (biblio: 344) - Click Edit > Attach item - Use barcode 3999900000001 - Submit and click OK, note the course is still listed for the item on the new record 3.) This triggers in-memory cache usage. - plack workers is atleast 2 - Change some easily visible syspref, such as 'languages'. The syspref change applies only to the worker thread where the change was made. Other worker threads keep using the old syspref. - Observer that 50% of time the old syspref is used. Other times the new syspref is used. - Reduce plack workers to 1. Observe no issues with syspref change taking effect. Using memcached solves this problem.
