[Bug 39311] New: Make accepted borrower file types configurable
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 12 Mar '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39311 Bug ID: 39311 Summary: Make accepted borrower file types configurable Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: System Administration Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: hebah(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com If a library has EnableBorrowerFiles set to allow, there's no mechanism checking what types of files are being uploaded. It would be great if that could be configurable with a choice of options (.pdf, .doc, .odf, .html, .gif - as a top-of-brain list). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 39201] New: Escape double quotes for strings going into Javascript

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39201 Bug ID: 39201 Summary: Escape double quotes for strings going into Javascript Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: I18N/L10N Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: dcook(a)prosentient.com.au QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: f.demians(a)tamil.fr, jonathan.druart(a)gmail.com As noted by Owen on the listserv, there are times where translators inject double quotes: #: koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/catalogue/itemsearch.tt:379 #: koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/reports/itemslost.tt:100 #, c-format msgid "Not for loan status" msgstr "Статус \"на дом не выдается\"" Which leads to this: + ' <th id="items_status" data-colname="notforloan_status">' + _("Статус "на дом не выдается"") + '</th>' But really those backslash escapes should've been preserved or during the text replacement process they should've been escaped again. -- Personally, I don't know enough about the translation mechanisms to know the finer details, but I suspect that would be the answer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 39309] New: Improve ConsiderLibraryHoursInCirculation handling of hourly loans when library closes past midnight
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Mar '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39309 Bug ID: 39309 Summary: Improve ConsiderLibraryHoursInCirculation handling of hourly loans when library closes past midnight Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: heather(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Created attachment 179176 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=179176&action=e… Screenshot of checkout confirmation message Some libraries using hourly loans have closing times past midnight, such as 1am. When ConsiderLibraryHoursInCirculation is being used and a library has a closing time past midnight, a checkout confirmation message appears (see screenshot) and provides the option for a due date to be specified, as if it is not allowed by circulation rules (even if allowed). To Test: 1. In Administration > Libraries, set library hours in such a way that the closing time is past midnight (ex: 1am) 2. Set ConsiderLibraryHoursInCirculation system preference to "shorten the loan period and set the checkout to be due at the library's close time". 3. Confirm that a circulation rule for the patron category/item type exists in Administration > Circulation and fine rules 4. Navigate to a patron account and check out an item with an hourly loan period - note the checkout confirmation message that appears -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 12141] On Display Module
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Mar '25

11 Mar '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12141 --- Comment #29 from Christopher Brannon <cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org> --- If the On display module became a thing, it seems like it could be a mix of both types of displays. You can either set a temporary display location that clears when it circulates, or you could set a fixed time display location that goes back to the display until a desired expiration. When that item circulates, and its past the fixed time for the display, on check in it would let you know it is no longer needing to go to the display (in case stickers need to be removed), and it would show its regular location. Maybe have an option to route to another status (cataloging review, processing, etc.) if desired in the workflow. For items that are on the shelf not circulating that are past the fixed display expiration, there could be a tab on this module (like the holds waiting past their expiration date) that are not checked out, indicating the items on the shelf that need to be moved to their regular location (and stickers removed). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12141 --- Comment #28 from Christopher Brannon <cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org> --- (In reply to Christopher Brannon from comment #27) > (In reply to Char Smith from comment #26) > > +1 > > The way some other ILS handle this is to basically have another checked in > > status that can manually be set to something like 'On Display'. > > I could see how that would work for regular displays, but for items that are > new that need to go back to a temporary shelving situation, that workflow > would add complications. But, I like this. It would be nice to have both. I could see an action button next to the item on the check in screen that would allow you to set it to any preconfigured display locations. Once it circulates it clears that status and defaults to available/recently returned on the next check in. And then it could be put on display if desired. Maybe another screen (Put on display), where you set the display location and then scan the item(s) that are going there. Again, those would clear when they circulate. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 39310] New: Accumulated items on check-in screen are flipping to red after the fact
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Mar '25

11 Mar '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39310 Bug ID: 39310 Summary: Accumulated items on check-in screen are flipping to red after the fact Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.11 Hardware: PC OS: Windows Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: maxeinergl(a)gcc.edu QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com As items accumulate on the checkin screen, we notice that they will flip to red/overdue as the screen updates with new checkins once their due deadline is passed. This is most obvious with hourly loans like course reserves. For example, an hourly return due at 1:30 gets checked in at 1:25. Item was returned on time and appears fine. But with further checkins accumulating onscreen, after 1:30 this item will change to red/overdue. It was not overdue at time of check-in, so it is misleading to have it labeled as such afterwards and causes confusion. I think the system should only be flagging for OD status on fresh check-ins, not reviewing the whole list each time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 39306] New: filters on parcels.pl resetting after page change
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Mar '25

11 Mar '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39306 Bug ID: 39306 Summary: filters on parcels.pl resetting after page change Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bdaeuber(a)cityoffargo.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When moving to the next page in filters.pl, the filter resets entirely. To recreate: 1. Search for a vendor with more that 20 invoices. More is better. 2. Click receive shipments. 3. Create some sort of filter on the left. In our case we are viewing closed invoices so we check that box and want to sort them by "shipment date reverse". Also view only 20 invoices at a time unless your vendor has a lot of invoices. 4. The first thing to note is that the column sort function only sorts the 20 results on the page, not all the available results (this may be similar to Bug 35866). If you click to the second page of results, the filter is entirely reset. If you are viewing closed invoices, those now disappear. Your sort order is also gone and if you were viewing certain dates, those are gone as well. It doesn't seem like you can ever get past the first page of results, which means anytime you're not sure of the shipment date, you'll have a hard time finding the invoice. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
