by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37327 Bug ID: 37327 Summary: JS crash on patrons list when there is patron with empty name Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: stalkernoid(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com When a patron has an empty first name and surname, JS crashes on the patrons list page, causing the patron list to fail to load. To reproduce: 1. Create a new or edit existing patron and set the "First Name" as empty and "Surname" as whitespace (' '), so both name and surname are empty. 2. Go to the patron search page and search to load the patron list, which will lead to JS crash and patron list not loading. 3. The error can be found in the console of your browser "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'name')" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. It would be desirable to have a column on that page (configurable) that would display any/all 245 subfields. This is important when libraries are ordering new volumes for existing works, sets, etc. This info is displayed in the baskets. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. It would be helpful to allow the option of setting each of those independently. Specifically, libraries have requested the option of being able to view the holds history in a patron record without having to enable viewing of the circulation history. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. In previous versions, the steps would be: -Find item with a waiting hold, and check it in -On the popup notifying me of the waiting hold, select 'Cancel hold' -A second popup appears notifying me of the next hold in line, so that I can confirm or ignore The second popup is no longer appearing. I have to check the item in a second time to know if there is a hold. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 13722] Titles with articles not sorting correctly in lists
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Jul '24

18 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13722 --- Comment #11 from Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de> --- (In reply to Owen Leonard from comment #9) > Do we need to add a "title-sortable" column to the biblio table? We could > use the non-filing characters indicator on the 245 field to build it. That > would allow us to sort results coming directly from SQL and to use the same > sorting for DataTables. And it would make it more language-agnostic than the > "anti-the" option in DataTables since we wouldn't have to predefine all > possible articles to ignore. I am not keen on another column, but I see no better way to achieve this and we cannot keep up with the anti-the for libraries with many different languages. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
