[Bug 37313] New: Suspension charging interval should be blank by default
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 10 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37313 Bug ID: 37313 Summary: Suspension charging interval should be blank by default Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: heather(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com In the circulation and fine rules matrix, the default value set for Suspension charging interval is 1. Cells in this column cannot be edited to contain a value of 0 or left blank, and will only save the new value if it is >1. It would be best if the default value for this column were blank, as it is confusing for libraries not using Suspensions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Use public lists determines if a librarian is permitted to see public lists, whilst create public lists determines if a librarian can create new public lists. It also fixes erroneously allowing staff to add items to existing lists, by honouring the existing edit_public_list_contents To test: a) notice the new my lists link on the account pulldown 1) ensure it goes to the lists module b) create new public list, add at least one item, make it editable by everyone 1) note the name of the list c) create a new patron with full access to the staff client minus lists permissions d) log in as the newly created patron e) notice the lists button is missing from the staff client mainpage f) set any of the lists permissions except create public lists, use public lists, edit public list contents g) notice how the lists button is no longer missing from the staff client mainpage h) go to the lists module 1) notice that public lists are now missing from the datatable i) click add list 1) notice that the public drop-down is now a fixed label set to private j) create list and confirm it is not public k) turn use public lists permission on l) return to the lists module 1) notice that the datatable now shows private and public lists tabs m) turn create public lists permission on n) repeat steps h-i 1) notice that the public drop-down is now visible again o) create list and confirm it is public p) go to the list you created in step b q) notice that add items button, and remove selected button, is missing r) turn edit public list contents permission on s) repeat steps p-q 1) notice that add items button is now visible t) click add items u) enter an item barcode or biblio number, click save 1) notice that the items are now added to the list Signed-off-by: Roman Dolny <roman.dolny(a)jezuici.pl> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 37306] New: KBART print ISBN and ISSN should be imported in 776 (marc21) and 452 (unimarc)

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37306 Bug ID: 37306 Summary: KBART print ISBN and ISSN should be imported in 776 (marc21) and 452 (unimarc) Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: ERM Assignee: jonathan.druart(a)gmail.com Reporter: mathsabypro(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: jonathan.druart(a)gmail.com, jonathan.field(a)ptfs-europe.com, martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com, matt.blenkinsop(a)ptfs-europe.com, pedro.amorim(a)ptfs-europe.com From https://koha-community.org/manual/latest/fr/html/erm.html#import-from-kbart… I believe Print isbn is imported in 020 in MARC21 This is not the standard way to map Kbart to MARC21. Even if I don't know if there is is an official mapping, you can take as an example the mapping of this provider : print isbn is going to 776z https://marc-openedition.readthedocs.io/en/latest/marc21.html#books for unimarc it should be 452y https://marc-openedition.readthedocs.io/en/latest/unimarc.html#books you can also see this example from Springer : https://metadata.springernature.com/api/metadata?eisbn=978-3-030-54602-1&fo… They add a 776$i "Printed edition" before the 776$z And the mapping used by Clarivate in Alma https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Content/For_Content_Providers/Enrichment The same logic applies to ISSN : print ISSN should be in 776$x in Marc21, 452$x in unimarc -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 37149] New: Add pointer to Wiki for SIP2config.xml

10 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37149 Bug ID: 37149 Summary: Add pointer to Wiki for SIP2config.xml Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Documentation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: alexander.wagner(a)desy.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: aude.charillon(a)ptfs-europe.com, philip.orr(a)lmscloud.de The Koha Wiki holds a quite extensive description of all possible parameters for the `SIP2config.xml` that dives into a lot more details than the current manual at https://koha-community.org/manual/latest/en/html/apis_protocols.html#sip2 Most likely, the wiki is too detailed for the general use and the current documentation is fine in this regard. (I even need only a subset of those from the manual.) However, as the screenshot in the manual https://koha-community.org/manual/latest/en/html/_images/accounts.png displays quite a bunch of parameters a pointer to the Wiki would probably be a good idea, especially as some parameters seem to address and solve quite some specific needs. Probably some "further technical reading"-link? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
